Probably much better in spring time than in September… yes, there is an entrance on Via Privata Fratelli Gabba (near the Bulgari hotel), at the end of the street, on the far right (hidden from view unless you’re facing the entrance). It’s not necessary to go through the Brera museum. Guess this means I will need to return to Milan for a third time, eventually… someday!

Cet endroit est une petite parenthèse enchantée dans le cœur de Milan. Il faut connaître pour trouver car il faut en effet traverser l’école des beaux arts pour découvrir ce si joli jardin paisible.

Hamburg
Inmitten des Großstadttrubels von Mailand befindet sich eine herrliche Oase der Ruhe. Der sehr empfehlenswerte Time-​Out-​Reiseführer «Milan, the Lakes & Lombardy» nennt sie «Brera’s best-​kept secret».
Als ich diesen Botanischen Garten besuchte, war die von Time Out beschriebene Bronze-​Tür geschlossen. Ich radelte um den Komplex herum und latschte erst mal durch die Accademia da Brera. Dort fand ich irgendwann ein paar nette KunststudentInnen, die mich durch die Gänge der Schule zum Garten schleusten.
Den gibt es seit 1774, und er beherbergt hunderte verschiedener Pflanzen, die man anhand von Namensschildern identifizieren kann.
Unbedingt reinschauen, wenn ihr in der Gegend seid!
