Pasta is a definite when in Italy and Platino did not disappoint. Went there for lunch after seeing great reviews. The restaurant is a trendy little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. the wine and drink selection was extensive. We ended up getting the seafood pasta and pasta carbonara. The waiter was both helpful and accommodating with our limited Italian. My favorite was the seafood pasta. It was both filling and delicious, with hints of white wine in the sauce. The pasta carbonara was simple and classic. Both were suggestions from our waiter and he didn’t let us down. Would go back again the next time we’re in Milan.

The BEST pasta that we had during our 9 days in Italy. We stayed in Milan, Florence and Rome and now that we’ve returned, we think of Platina with fondness and sadness that we can’t go there all the time!
Their pasta is just a cut above everyone else. It’s not just homemade, but put together with such perfection that it burns into your memory forever. We loved it!
