We took the ferry from Naples to Ischia and back during a recent trip. I was very happy with the ferry’s operation and the speed of travel. We took the «fast» ferry to the island with a travel time of about 45 minutes. The crew was very friendly and accommodating as we got on and off the boat. The travel was incredibly smooth, but we did have very calm weather.
The ticketing can be a little confusing, when purchasing at the counter at the port of Naples. If at all possible, I suggest you book online and save yourself the hassle.
