Three years ago pizzas were great. Today… Average and expensive. Same for Spaguetti al vongole. average Too bad !

Staying at the excelsior and ate there two nights in a row and will probably go there again tonight for take out. Down to earth place. Nothing romantic. Lots of locals mostly guys watching football game while eating. Super delicious pizza freshly made from a 1930s oven. You can watch your pizza made from scratch all in two minutes. All Italian staff except one young Japanese intern from kamakura learning how to make pizza. I saw from the wall photos of another Japanese guy. I was told he was his boss who also interned here n now owner of a pizza restaurant in Japan. I saw from trip advisor that someone went back again since his last trip eight years ago and pizza was still good. So the food is constantly good n memorable.
