Claudio is a really cool bartender. He went out of his way to make me an old fashioned cocktail Don Draper style. We had a great talk and I could really understand him as I am learning Italian as a beginner.

It is becoming a tradition that each of the past few times my family and I have gone to Napoli we have had pizza at the Sorbillo location across the street from this place then walked over here for coffee and dessert. The guy who works behind the bar is hilarious. When we told him we were from Seattle, he dove into a ten-minute soliloquy about how the Sonics left and what a shame it was because now in Oklahoma they are the best team in the league. Apparently Kevin Durant is a team player but LeBron and Kobe are not. He also says his real favorite team is the Boston Celtics because of their history of greatness. For our second round of cappucinos, he used a toothpick to draw«Seattle» and«Okla-oma» in the foam. They also make their own pastries in house in a factory on the second floor. You can see the spiral staircase in the back room. Then they use a mini-elevator in the front corner of the shop to lower them down to the ground floor. The caprese cake is amazing. It is made from chocolate and almonds and is rich without being overwhelming, soft but not dry. They also have what my grandmother considers the best rum baba she has ever had, and that says a lot considering how obsessed with them she is in general. There seems to be a sense of community here where people are enjoying themselves and connecting with each other around great food.
