Il Castagno is a combination hotel, restaurant and dessert/​coffee shop. We visited the restaurant when we were staying a nearby town, and it was recommended to us. And it was excellent! We had several different family members to please, and this was a good option. There was fried fish, pizza, veal. .. you name it, they probably had it. The portions were all standard to large, and no one left hungry or unsatisfied. The dining room was large and spacious, and not particularly busy during our visit, a mid May weeknight. I can imagine come summer time it is packed with families enjoying their pizzas.
Pro tip: if you like tiramisu, definitely order it here! They do not cheap out on the mascarpone, and the portion is easily shared several ways (or kept for yourself! your call!).
