Found this from an online article about the best place for a granita in Palermo… and it is truly awesome. The place looks pretty lame and probably wouldn’t be the kind of bar you’d go into. But it’s real vintage, and the guy who runs it, Pino, is going to be so happy you came in. He says that article has brought him a ton of business. For the granita, you’ve got to ask for it — it’s not displayed, but kept in a freezer near the door. Pino makes just a few seasonal flavours as well as classics each day, using only natural ingredients. A good sized granita costs less than 3 €.
