Great food, service and owner. Open on Sunday afternoon on a festival weekend. We had heard good things from other folks and other internet services. We tried it and we were not disappointed. Prima piatti was pasta, Debra had homemade fettuccini with lobster and I had Rigatoni with 4 cheese sauce. Both were great and cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive even though the place was filling with obvious local frequent diners(hugs all around) he still made sure we were attended to. The owner also came by to ask if all was good, which it was:) secondo piatti I had a wonderfully grilled swordfish with patate and spinach Con aglio e olio and Debra had grilled veal with patate frite. Again we were very surprised at the quality and flavor. OTTIMO! For dessert Debra went for the Trimasu(not Sicilian from Treviso) which was some of the best she has ever had. I had to have the canolo di sicilia — it was absolutely out of this world and with a great espresso I was out for the count. La Staffa gets our highest recommendation and if we return we will eat there again and again. Perfetto!
