Torre di Pisa

I enjoyed our visit to Pisa to see ruins of an old city. Loved the landmarks and toured the decaying monuments of what was a prestigious shipping community. My tour of these old cities round up my knowledge from what I studied in art history years ago. It’s fulfilling and helps to understand more about Italy’s history.
It was fun to watch the people pose ridiculous selfies around the monuments. That was pretty entertaining.

Everyone knows the leaning tower of Pisa, but seeing it in person was quite a sight. You know it’s slanted and sinking on one side, but I was in awe to see such a large and heavy structure not fall over from being slanted that much.
If you’re in the Cinque Terre or Florence area, I suggest taking a side trip to Pisa. The train ride is about an hour and you only need an hour to walk from the train station to the tower and then back. If you want to climb the tower, you should buy tickets in advance as they sell out. I didn’t feel the need to climb the tower, so I saved myself € 20.
There are toilets at the plaza, but you need to pay €.80 to use the facilities. If you want to grab a meal in the area, walk back toward the train station. The restaurants near the tower are very pricey and touristy.

I feel like this tower mocks me. On each visit, I’ve attempted to figure out the «pushing up the tower» picture about a hundred times. I have failed at taking this tourist shot so epically it’s actually pretty sad.
I haven’t walked to the top — mostly because I think the real view is the tower itself. And also, I’m lazy.
I wouldn’t say the Leaning Tower is a *must see,* but it sure is interesting to check out if you’re already in the area. Be ready to get swarmed by selfie-​stick sellers.

What a wonderful experience! It’s amazing to be able to say that, not only did I see the leaning tower, but I also got to climb it! Many people have seen it, but there are less that have been able to climb to the top. Not many people know that this was a bell tower, I learned that as well as many other things while visiting. If you get the chance to visit, do it. If you get the chance to climb it and are able, do it. This is a bucket list item I can cross off with a smile on my face. Also, even though it’s cheesy, you have to do the picture with you pushing up the tower… I think it might be a requirement in some book somewhere. Don’t forget about the other wonderful things to see while in Pisa, there are so many things. ( Unilocal LA Challenge #28 of 100)

This is a classic place to see. Definitely go see the Tower of Pisa. You should also go see the Baptistry, Convent, and Church tied to it.

This place is even cooler than I imagined.
We arrived shortly after 11 and were able to get tickets to the top for 11:30. The wait was shorter than expected and the view from the top was awesome. Definitely a better experience than expected. This is a must see!

This is a classic tourist spot in Italy. Its on the UNESCO World Heritage site list. I was blown away to discover a humongous church right next door to the Leaning Tower. In all of the photos & movie references, I’d never realized that there was a church next door. It’s not just a church. It’s huge! It practically dwarfs the tower!
Everyone lines up in front to take the classic leaning photo. I recommend heading around to the back. It gets you away from some of the crowds so that you get a better photo. Back there you will find the line for the tickets to climb to the top of the tower. You sign up for a specific time & they sell out sometimes so leave enough time to get tickets!

Add another tick to my short list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites! Have fun and take pics from a distance to get those silly shots in. Why not? I have no idea how much it cost to go up as this was years ago, but we walked all the way up to the top. The narrow, winding and twirling marble stairs were badly worn in the middle. I guess that’s what happens after 600+ years. Amazing. The physical and visual effects you feel while walking up and down a leaning building was crazy! Lean back while going up, lean forward while going down. The view at the top was gorgeous, but where in Italy isn’t?

Seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa in real life is so mesmerizing! Before you actually see it, it just seems like it’s just a boring old tower, but when you see it with your eyes, it’s really something. Just don’t waste your time buying the ticket to go inside the tower. All there is are some stairs you climb and climb until you run out of breath to a view of… nothing really. Plus the waiting time is horrible and confusing! But besides that it was a really beautiful tower.

This landmark is also a must see. You might think that you’d be uninterested in person but when you get there, it actually intrigues you even more.
Visitors all seem to have a lot of fun with photos e.g. pretending to straighten out or support the tower.
You can also go up the tower but make sure you prebook the tour. It’s a busy place and line ups are long.

Leaning tower of wonder haha. If, you’re like me, you probably heard about this place since elementary. For me, being as I was in Italy, I knew I had to visit Pisa even if it wasn’t on my initial itinerary. Sadly, on the day I went, the weather was horrid and the rain dropped nonstop.
Even in the rain, the structure is a sight to be seen. Bring your cameras or cell phone because you’ll probably take a ton of photos. Comfortable shoes are another must. Surrounding you will be people hawking items to tourists (where I bought my umbrella) There’s a couple restaurants within walking distance. If you want gelato, there’s a shop right in front of Torre di Pisa. For fast food, you’ll come across a BK and McDonalds after the main entrance.

Truthfully, I’d be tempted to round down even to 3 stars here, as there isn’t much to see or do other than spend 30 minutes or so with the tower. You’ll probably waste about 10 minutes or so lining up your perfect photo, and then 20 minutes or so climbing to the top and hanging out. PRO TIP — pay the extra money and go to the top, the view is worth is, and climbing tilted stairs is an interesting experience. PRO PRO TIP — climbing titled stairs after a few drinks is a REALLY interested experience.
So back to the stars. Yes, this is a HUGELY famous landmark, and albeit a bit boring, NOT getting your picture with it would make for a sad mistake, so find a way to fit Pisa into your Italy trip and go along with the masses. Hence, me rounding up to 4 stars.
Our tour did include a «train» ride around town, but I didn’t note anything else in the town really worth checking out. Somewhat similar to Florence in feel with the river and bridges, but a lot of the town is modernized and missing some of that classic architecture. I *think*, if I’m remembering correctly, that a lot of the town was damaged in WWII, which explains more of the modern buildings.
I have to say we did come at the end of the tourist season, on a weekday, at ~5pm, so crowds were minimal. Prime time to go in my opinion, and it made for amazing sunset pictures from the top of the tower.

After a long day on multiple trains we made it to Pisa around 730−8ish. The sun was setting and we opted to use our map to find the piazza instead of take the bus. The piazza seemed moderately close to the train station, but anyone that has used those fold up maps in Italy knows that sometimes there is more to the map than what meets the eye, or maybe I’m just bad with maps. Anyway we finally made it to the perimeter of the piazza and walked hurriedly past the hustlers trying to get all the people to buy their wares. Selfie-​sticks seemed to be the item of the day as we were bombarded by the salesmen to buy one but we quickened our pace and ta-​da! We rolled up on the Torre/​Tower. We entered on the side that has the baptistery so the torre was furthest from us. Of course, that is the better entrance to come in on especially if you’re trying to capture your own iconic image of the leaning tower. The further away from the tower you are the easier it is to make it look like you’re pushing, pulling, lifting, or harassing the poor olé tower. It’s a great place to people watch as well since everyone is bending and stretching and jumping and giving each other directions on how to make it look like the person being captured is molesting the tower in some way.
Anyway, the tower is awesomely constructed and wonderfully beautiful. I walked around it several times just to see all the arches and small bits and bobs that some people often overlook. It really is something to marvel at, not just because it’s leaning but because it’s wonderfully crafted.
I would say it may be best to come closer to closing as the lines are shorter. There were only a few people scattered around the lawns and walkways when we got there so the experience was much more pleasant. After you’re done there are a few places nearby to have a little spot to eat. We missed going into the baptistery but I’ve heard the view from there is just as good and less expensive. Check the website before going as the whole piazza has different opening and closing times throughout the year.

We took the train here from Firenze– about50 minute train ride and walked to the towers from the station– about 15 minute walk. Upon entering the grounds where the tower is we saw there was a wall (billboard style) that had information about the tower and it was interesting to read about it.
Of course from the corner of my eye I kept looking at the tower (it really leans!) and was very impressed.
Of course we took typical tourist photos of pushing down the tower and leaning on it. But one word to describe the tower is INTERESTING.
This tower is known around the world because it defeats laws of gravity and simply leans!
Basically this is a must see and it really is different seeing it in person and seeing it in pictures– if in the area see the leaning tower.

There are so many well written reviews on the Leaning Tower of Pisa so I’ll keep it simple:
It’s located in «Miracle Square»
Dress comfortably, especially your shoes are you will be walking a lot.
Bring a camera.
Visit the baptistery, cathedral, and tower, but they do require reservations.
Lots of shops selling trinkets.
Use the restroom at the dirty McDonald’s if necessary.
Beware of the pushy vendors.
Admire the typical Romanesque Pissano Architecture.

i’ve always heard so much about it growing up. reading about it in the school history books. i’ve honestly always thought that it was leaning a lot more in person. although it wasn’t i was still really glad that i was able to take the time out to see the leaning tower of pisa in the flesh.
you gotta walk to the lockers to drop off your belongings. (the lockers are free). then make your way up the leaning tower of pisa with tickets. as they do check your tickets prior to letting you enter the pisa. they allow you to take your camera and take pictures just FYI. great view. great part of history.
i would totally recommend any tourist visiting italy to come to the torre di pisa. i was totally tired and out of breath making my way up the leaning tower of pisa. right when you step foot in the tower you’ll right away notice that it’s leaning so it’s definitely not your average climb. take breaks as needed as i took A LOT of breaks.

*wear comfy shoes if you plan on walking up the pisa.
*purchase your tickets online to save time.
*the bus stops are right outside of the tower of pisa.
*to use the restrooms it will cost you some euros.
*to go into the church or other buildings it will also cost you some euros.
*there’s a lot of merchants selling souvenir items. they close early if it’s pouring rain.

Sí, como no ir a Pisa y no ver su famosa torre.
He tenido la suerte de subir dos veces. La primera, hace mucho tiempo, antes de su restauración. En esa época permitían dar la vuelta por los pisos conforme subías. Recuerdo no poder dar la vuelta en el tercer piso y el miedo que pasé arriba del todo. La segunda vez, tras la restauración, no resultó tan impactante.
Hoy en día, para poder subir a la torre tienes dos opciones: haces la reserva a través de la web o haces cola para poder comprar la entrada. Tengo que reconocer que lo tienen bien organizado. La subida es cada media hora y de 30 personas a la vez. En la zona de los tickets tienes paneles en los que vas viendo las horas disponibles, así como las plazas libres en cada turno, lo que te permite hacerte una idea del tiempo que luego vas a tardar. De esta forma, puedes organizarte la visita por los alrededores y llegar puntual a tu cita con la torre.
Antes de subir es imprescindible depositar cualquier mochila en las taquillas gratuitas, asociadas con el billete. Tan solo dejan entrar bolsos pequeños y cámaras fotográficas.
Una vez en el interior, que es hueco, hacen una pequeña explicación de lo que supuso la restauración, del grado de inclinación de la torre, y demás y, te dejan subir hasta arriba del todo, único punto abierto hoy en día. La subida es más que curiosa: subes escalones pero a veces da la sensación que estás bajando. Los escalones de mármol, desgastados por el uso, te hacen pensar en los miles de pisadas que han pasado por ellos. Y ya en la cima, protegidos por una gran verja, a la media hora exacta, el guardia de seguridad te invita a abandonar la torre. Es una buena manera para evitar atascos en su interior de gente que sube mientras otros intentan bajar.
18 € por persona es un precio muy, muy caro, pero teniendo en cuenta que la torre es un patrimonio histórico de la humanidad, estoy más que orgullosa de haber compartido experiencia con mi familia.

There are a lot of opinions on the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
For some its a must see. Others would rather not waste a morning trying to push the tower back up. In fact our tour guide, who has been on countless tours to Pisa, joked with us that she wouldn’t mind if someone just pushed over the tower so she could spent more time in Florence. Hah.
I happen to think the tower is pretty fabulous. Architecturally it’s remarkable how something built of heavy stone/​marble, just under 200 feet tall, and is leaning at a 15degrees angle is still standing — more than 600 years later. That is crazy! che è pazzo!
We were given a solid hour to explore the ‘Piazza del Duomo di Pisa’ and take photos. All of the buildings were striking — but the tower was my favorite. Call me a cliché but I couldn’t leave without one of those tower-​pushing-​photos.

Mythique forcément, situé à 10 min à pied du centre ville, début février pas grand monde donc facile de prendre de belles photos, par contre il faut payer 18 € pour monter dedans à un créneau donné, trop cher donc on a passé notre tour!

My aunt thought we would like to see the Tower at Pisa. Yes!
When we got there, it wasn’t what I expected.
Well, Yes and No.
The towel was amazing. i didn’t know you could go in it. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time. The wait was about an hour and we had just enough time for photo ops only.
The area going towards the tower is lined with a lot of stores. Merchants selling souvenirs. Watch your belonging here. There’s a lot of pick pockets in that area.
I did not like that area, it felt like a bad farmers market to me.
I really enjoyed seeing the tower.
If you’re adventurous, you should climb it.
Otherwise, see if you can get the best possible picture of the tower you can =)

La tour de Pise est bien la seule attraction à voir à Pise. Je parle d’ «attraction» car on né compte pas le nombre de touristes qui essayent de se prendre en photo pour faire LA photo parfaite à côté de la tour (et souvent pendant de longues minutes, et après de nombreuses pauses !!)
Toutefois l’accès n’est vraiment pas donné: 18 euros pour pouvoir monter en haut de cette (petite) tour, qui permet d’avoir une vue sur Pise. Les autres bâtiments à visiter sont à 5 euros, la cathédrale est gratuite, mais impossible de déambuler à l’intérieur le dimanche matin à cause de la messe.
De nombreux petits restaurants aux alentours permettent de manger sur place en ayant vue sur la tour.

25 minutes tops, that’s it. It’s something you do while in Pisa, so I said why not. It’s not a difficult climb at all, if your not a toddler that is, going up is narrow but doable. They allow you to spend maybe 10 minutes at the very top to enjoy the scenery and they politely give you the boot.
It’s a nice aerial view of Pisa. I even snapped some pics of friends sunbathing at the hotel nearby.
Oh yeah and it’s all marble, everything :)
Here’s a useful tip: So everyone and their mothers, cousins, grandmas, uncles, side piece, friends take pics in front of the tower which is acceptable. However if the person in the pic is nowhere near or touching the tower it’s an indication for the camera man to move, not for the person in the portrait.

L’impression de voir les choses de travers comme si vous étiez bourré, c’est la confirmation que vous êtes bien au pied du plus célèbre raté architectural au monde. Même les Simpson font référence au campanile (l’équivalent des beffrois en terre chti) dans un épisode où la famille jaune se rend en Italie pour récupérer et ramener une Ferrari appartenant à M. Burns. On y voit à la fin de ce volet Homer, dégustant un typique hamburger à la terrasse d’un MC Do avec comme décor en second plan, la tour avec sa base instable. Nous aurions aimé grimper tout là haut, vérifier si à plus de soixante mètres du sol, nous aurions eu l’ impression d’être à bord du Titanic quelques minutes avant qu’il né sombre complétement sous les eaux glacées. La découverte du prix de la visite (18 € /​pers) nous refroidis sérieusement.

Un punto turístico de visita obligada. Fue muy cómico ver a toda la horda de turistas haciendo posturitas con la torre, creo que es lo que más gracia me hizo! A la torre no subí, más que nada por tiempo porque no la vi tan alta ni tan inclinada. Tenía las expectativas muy altas respecto su inclinación y la vi hasta demasiado recta para lo q m habían pintado…
No obstante me gustó ver el souvenir q todo el mundo tiene en casa pero en versión original!

Wehmut und Ehrfurcht müssen sie durchfließen, wenn sie sehen, wie es die Erben der frühen Baumeister Italiens schaffen, mit einem solchen Projekt noch heute, 800 Jahre nach seiner Erbauung, viel Geld zu verdienen.
Fast schneeweiß neigt er sich neben den Gebäuden der Kathedrale und der Basilika in Richtung Altstadt, als wolle er sich verneigen vor der alten Dame, aus deren Schoß er einst entwuchs. Sein äußeres Erscheinungsbild ist weit mehr als das Phänomen seiner Abweichung von der Senkrechten. Es sind die reichen Verzierungen, die runden Fensterbögen und sein helles, beinahe reines Antlitz und seine Höhe von 58,36m, die die Blicke auf sich ziehen.
Begonnen im Jahre 1174 von Bonanno Pisano, fertiggestellt 1350 von Tommaso Pisano und wahrscheinlich auch zukünftig noch häufiger Grund für umfangreiche Sanierungen und Stabilisierungen wie zuletzt von 1990 bis 2001, zieht er jährlich regelrechte Scharen von Touristen nach Pisa.
Alle, wirklich alle versuchen sich an dem einen Motiv — eine sich dem zu fallen scheinenden Turm entgegenstemmende Figur, die das Bauwerk zu stützen scheint. So sieht man zarte Japaner auf Steingeländern, füllige Nordamerikaner eher zu deren Füßen und alle wollen dieses eine Foto. Und ich gestehe, auch zu ihnen gehört zu haben. Und so kann ich ebenso behaupten eine der haltenden Säulen dieses beeindruckenden Bauwerks zu sein.
Für eine Turmbesteigung muss der willige Treppensteiger 18 Euro ausgeben, was aber nicht unbedingt notwendig ist, weil die Attraktion von oben weniger zu bestaunen ist, als von unten.
Sehr zu empfehlen ist das kleine Café am Fuße des Turmes, von welchem aus man einen tollen Blick und den Crema ausgiebig genießen kann.

Ja, der Turm auf der Piazza. Also ehrlich, man muss Ihn gesehen haben, doch ich persönlich finde die Kathedrale viel schöner (besonders bei Sonne). Nehmt euch vor den vielen fliegenden Händler in Acht. Dort wird viel erzählt und noch mehr verkauft was keinen Cent wert ist.

Turm ist wieder offen. Für 15, — kann man ihn besteigen. Im Vergleich zur Sagrata Famiglia in Barcelona war die Schlange extrem kurz!!!

Zum Fotografieren ganz nett, aber so richtig umgehauen hat der Turm mich nicht. Außerdem konnte man noch nicht einmal rauf, da er zu der Zeit, wo ich dort war, saniert wurde. Bleibt also die äußere Ansicht.

Cuando lo visite no se podia subir por precaucio, pero desde la plaza se puede observar la inclinacion de la torre que es su encanto

Der Turm an sich ist schon sehenswert auch kann man tolle Fotos knipsen wodrauf man den Turm stützt aber leider durften wir nicht mehr drauf um ihn zu besichtigen er wurde einen Tag vor unserer Ankunft für Besucher geschlossen. Weiß allerdings nicht ob man ihn jetzt wieder betreten kann nun gut unser Besuch liegt auch schon vier Jahre zurück.

La Torre de Pisa o Torre inclinada de Pisa (en italiano: Torre pendente di Pisa) es el campanario de la Catedral de Pisa. Fue construida para que permaneciera en posición vertical pero comenzó a inclinarse tan pronto como se inició su construcción en agosto de 1173. La altura de la torre es de 55,7 a 55,8 metros desde la base, su peso 14.700 toneladas y la inclinación de unos 4° extendiéndose 3,9 m de la vertical. La torre tiene 8 niveles: una base de arcos ciegos con 15 columnas, 6 niveles con una columnata externa y remata en un campanario. La escalera interna en espiral tiene 294 escalones. La torre está ubicada en Pisa, que es un municipio de la región italiana de la Toscana y es la capital de la homónima provincia.
El gobierno de Italia solicitó ayuda el 27 de febrero de 1964 para prevenir su derrumbe, y el 7 de enero de 1990 fue cerrada al público como medida de seguridad. En mayo de 2008, después de la eliminación de otras 70 toneladas métricas (77 toneladas cortas) de tierra, los ingenieros de la Torre anunciaron que se había estabilizado de tal forma que había dejado de moverse por primera vez en su historia. Se indicó que iba a ser estable durante al menos 200 años. Se volvió a permitir la entrada al público el 16 de junio de 2001, después de la finalización de 10 años de trabajo.

Wirklich sehr Sehenswert.
Obwohl es nicht der schiefste Turm der Welt ist (das ist nämlich Der schiefe Turm von Suurhusen Deutschland) ist er doch einen abstecher nach Pisa wert. Als wir mitten in der Nacht in Pisa ankamen waren kaum noch Leute unterwegs. Wir fuhren mit den Auto durch einen kleinen Tunnel und auf einmal stand er da. in allen möglichen Farben beleuchtet und drohte jeden moment umzukippen. Das sah sehr impusant aus.
Einen Stern gab es abzug, weil der Eintritt wirklich unverschämt hoch ist (teurer als der Eifelturm da war ich 5 Tage früher) und man wirklich auf seine sachen gut aufpassen muss. Außerdem laufen da Leute rum die den touristen die eh freien Parkplätze zeigen (wirklich nur Zeigen, keine offiziellen Parkeinweiser) und dafür Trinkgeld haben wollen.
Bevor ich einen durchstochenen Reifen oder ein dicken Kratzer im Lack habe gab ich lieber Trinkgeld.

Da wir übers Wochenende nach Florenz gefahren sind, war Pisa ja nicht weit weg, also sind wir schnell mit dem Auto hin.
Man sieht den Turm schon von weitem und ich konnte es kaum erwarten ihn zu sehen. Als wir dann geparkt haben, bin ich voller Vorfreude hingelaufen.
Wenn man die große Rasenfläche sieht sieht man alle Leute, die ihre Hand/​ihren Fuß in die Luft strecken und das typische ‘Ich lehne am Schiefen Turm von Pisa’-Bild mimen. Es gab Kamerastative mit allem drum und dran. Man kennt diese Fotos ja zu genüge, aber das dort wirklich alle dranstehen und es machen hat mich wirklich zum Schmunzeln gebracht.
Wenn man in Richtung Kathedrale läuft grenzt auf der linken Seite ein Souvenirstand am nächsten. Ich schätze es waren 20 30 Stück. Ich wollte mir natürlich auch einen Turm kaufen, hatte aber Schwierigkeiten einen zu finden, der wirklich sauber und scharf verarbeitet war. Am Schluss bin ich dann doch noch fündig geworden. Immer wieder habe ich mich nach hinten gedreht um den Turm im Sonnen licht zu sehen, wirklich sehr schön.
Ich denke, wenn man in der Nähe ist, sollte man dort auf jeden Fall vorbeischauen.

Très jolie ville. Mais n’ y consacrer Qu une demi journée est suffisant, car finalement à part la tour, il n’ y a pas grand chose d autre a voir. A coupler avec la visite de Lucca par exemple.

Das Warzeichen von Pisa, aber Achtung: Überall versuchen sie einen zubekauen. Da muss man aufpassen und vorsichtig sein! Also immer auf der Hut sein!

Der schiefe Turm von Pisa– stellen sich viele etwas aufregendes, tolles vor. Für mich dagegen ist das nur schon wieder der schiefe Turm.
Der Turm an sich ist wirklich klasse, aber «nur» weil er auf Sand gebaut wurde und dadurch schief hängt ist diese Stadt dermaßen touristisch, dass es einfach nicht mehr schön ist.
Wer das Drum herum kennt, also Pisa als Stadt, der verliert ganz schnell die Lust an der Stadt, denn die meisten Menschen dort sind arm, in vielen Ecken ist es dreckig und vermüllt, wie in ganz Italien.
Trotzdem ist es kein Fehler sich den Turm mal an zu gucken.

Magnifique endroit qui demande beaucoup de temps a visiter. Un site d’une propreté exceptionnelle. A éviter en été, beaucoup de monde et quand il fait chaud en Italie ça brule. Le parking a 50 m est bien pensé. Mais bon, vendeurs a la sauvette et la pisse sur le mur qui mèné a la caisse ça rebute.

Xav de Nice a raison, La tour de Pise vaut le coup, mais pour une halte de quelques heures seulement. L’inscrire dans un circuit en voiture en incluant Sienne, Florence, Rome … où là il faudra prévoir plusieurs jours en allant crescendo.

Wunderschön! Schade, dass man sich nicht auf die Wiese legen darf um ihn einfach nur anzugucken.

Die gesamt Anlage ist schon sehenswert, abgesehen von den Touristen. Wobei auch dieses Spektakel mit dazugehört. Ein Besucher nach dem anderen, der die mittlerwelie langweiligen «ich halte den Turm» Fotos macht. Aber wenn man in der nahe ist sollte man sich sowohl das Fotospektakel, als auch die Bauwerke mal gönnen.
Einen Punkt Abzug wegen der schlechten Parkmöglichkeiten und vielen Ramschhändler.

Den Turm an sich mal «in Echt» gesehen zu haben, ist ganz nett, aber alles drumherum ist wirklich nervig.
Gleich zu Beginn als wir damals auf unserer Studienreise aus dem Bus gestiegen sind, haben uns Straßenhändler mit billigem Schrott verfolgt und so ging das die ganze Zeit weiter…
Ein paar witzige (mittlerweile StandardBilder, wie Mensch lehnt gegen Turm, Mensch hält Turm etc.) Fotos geschossen und dann nix wie weg dort!

Der Turm ist mit Sicherheit eine Sehenswürdigkeit die man besucht haben muss. Allerdings muss ich dazu sagen, dass die Besichtigung an sich, durch den hohen Touristen Anlauf, mit langen Wartezeiten verbunden ist. Ich selber war eine Woche in Pisa und kam erst beim dritten versuch dazu den Turm zu besichtigen, war aber den Aufwand wert!

Un lugar maravilloso para visitar en Italia, recomiendo! Durante muchas décadas ha sido objeto de especulación y al mito popular, el hecho interesante de que esta torre no se caiga y se bloquea. Pero después de las mediciones, encuestas, estudios y muchos proyectos de ingeniería, hemos logrado fortalecer su base de todo en un perímetro de unos 58 metros, que salvó a esta famosa obra … por ahora.

A croire que beaucoup on fait le même voyage, Pise n’est pas attrayante si l’on né voit que l’extérieur de l’enceinte même où se situe la tour et les autres monuments justement le paradoxe est au moment de s’introduire dans cette enceinte l’éclatante blancheur immaculée, impression donnée s’il y a soleil est magnifique moi j’en ai eu plein les yeux à en être presque émue .!après le reste les stands de vendeurs à la sauvette de lunettes ou faux sacs de couturiers c’est pour le tourisme mais on peut se faire plaisir pour pas cher et croire être une starlette!
Ce que je retiens de négatif est de faire payer les enfants (à partir de ⁸⁄₉ ans) pour monter sur la tour mais surtout le prix exagéré; je né me souviens plus le tarif exacte malheureusement mais cela me semblait cher.

Sehr beeindruckend und wer hat noch nicht davon gehört, vom Schiefen Turm von Pisa.
Man hat irgendwo immer ein wenig «Angst»
das der Turm doch mal kippt:)
Gibt sehr viele Souvenirstände rund um das Gelände, sowie Restaurants.
Ich empfehle immer das Zunehmen, wo die meisten Einheimischen sitzen.
Denn was denen gefällt, kann nicht verkehrt sein :)
Aufjedenfall sollte man dieses Wahrzeichen Italiens mal besuchen, insofern man in der Nähe ist.

Der schiefe Turm von Pisa eines der Wahzeichen Italiens. Gewaltig Groß erscheint einem der Turm wenn man winzig klein daneben steht. Ein tolles Gefühl dort mal zu stehen, um den Anblick zu genießen. Um den Turm herrum gibt es genug Möglichkeiten, sich in einem der vielen Restaurants zu stärken. Wahrlich ein Genuss, bei leckerem Essen und Trinken alles auf sich wirken zu lassen.

Très beau monument Italien. La ville autour né présente que peu d’intérêt d’un point de vue touristique mais la «Torre Pendante» vaut mille fois le détours à elle seule. Nous avons été étonné de voir que la Tour fait partie d’un ensemble très harmonieux avec le Duomo et le Baptistère. La Tour est sublime d’une blancheur lumineuse et elle penche pas mal. D’ailleurs attention, les enfants de moins de 8 ans né peuvent pas y grimper pour raison de sécurité. Mais ils peuvent soutenir la tour…

La características de los monumentos Italianos es que todos están un poco inclinados, como la torre de Pisa, en Venezia pasa una cosa parecida.
Monumento histórico que la gente puede visitar en su interior, aunque el precio de la entrada es algo elevado.
La torre tardo mas de 200 años en construirse y se hizo en tres periodos.
Todo aquello está muy ajardinado con unos restaurantes fabulosos donde comer muy bien, aunque lo mejor solo es tomar agua porque los refrescos van bastante caros, e incluso una coca-​cola 4 euros.

Ich war schon oft in Pisa und gehe jedes Mal zum schiefen Turm. Ich finde es nämlich total irre, wie schief der wirklich ist. Meistens setze ich mich auf die grüné Wiese und beobachte die Leute beim Fotografieren. Man kann dort übrigens für 9 Euro pro Tag ein Fahrrad mieten und wenn man ein bisschen Zeit hat, kommt man damit bis ans Meer.

Ich glaube hier noch mehr über die Historie zu schreiben ist wohl irgendwie übertrieben, denn das haben meine Vorposter ja schon ausgiebig getan, aber ansonsten kann ich nur noch dazu sagen, dass ich finde, dass dieser schiefe Turm wohl auf jeden Fall zu den ‘Places to see, before you die’ gehört. (Ich habe das Buch leider nicht gelesen und kann somit nicht sagen, ob er tatsächlich drin steht, sollte er aber!)
Wirklich tolle Atmosphäre, allerdings kleiner Tipp: im Sommer sollte man sich sowas wie Autan mitnehmen, weil man andernfalls von den Mücken aufgefressen wird.
Achja für alle Frauen: In den Dom gegenüber darf man nur, wenn man seine Beine bedeckt hat.

Un site à voir pour le symbole qu’il représente en Italie sinon rien de très impressionnant mis à part peut être l’architecture assez belle mais loin d’être originale dans le coin !

Ja, aber man muß ja nicht umbedingt auf den Turm steigen. Viel schöner ist es sich vorher auf dem Weg vom Bahnhof zur Domanlage bei der Tourimusinformation nach dem nächstgelegenen Supermarkt zu erkundigen, und sich von dort kostengünstig ein feudales Picknick mitzunehmen und selbiges auf den großen, meißt kurz gemähten Rasenflächen zu genießen. Seh schön dabei ist es die weißen Marmorgebäude bei schönem Wetter auf sich wirken zu lassen und das Gewimmel der Touristen einen Augenblick zu vergessen.
Oder selbige dabei zu beobachten, wie sie sich seltsam verrenken, um ein wenig originel mit dem Turm abgelichtet zu werden.

Wohl das bekannteste schiefe Gebäude. Schön in der Toskana gelegen ist es ein Magnetpunkt für viele Besucher. Das schlägt sich natürlich auch im Preis nieder (Angebot und Nachfrage… :-)). 15EUR muss man hinlegen um die 294 Stufen zu besteigen. Gut, der Turm hat auch einiges gekostet und wurde wegen Einsturzgefahr im Jahr 1990 für die Besucher gesperrt und umfassend saniert. Erst seit 2001 ist eine Besteigung wieder möglich.
Wer die 15EUR investiert hat wird ggf. auf die nächste Probe gestellt. Teilweise muss man sehr lange anstehen um den Turm besteigen zu können. Die Besteigung wird nämlich gruppenweise durchgeführt.
ABER, wer sich von all dem nicht abschrecken lässt, der wird natürlich für seine Geduld und Anstrengung (wie gesagt knapp 300 Stufen) belohnt.
