If you are on the A14 driving between Bari to Pescara… don’t miss this little jewel just a click or so off the road at the Vasto Nord exit. The reason to go here? Arrosticini!!! A few years back it was something they only offered a few times a week, but now they have added a full-​time wood grill and these little skewers of perfection are on the menu full time.
Opening times and days are seasonal, so watch out for that! A call ahead of time or checking their website is a good practice.
And after dinner, try a glass or two of Ratafià…a liqueur made from the local Abruzzo wine and black cherries. Amazing. Not one for the sweet apéritif? Buy a bottle and add it to your favorite soft drink to make it a «cherry.»
