This hotel is very conveniently located in Roma. Very close to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon; The Spanish Steps and numerous eateries. Upon check in the staff is very friendly. That is not always the case in other major European city hotels. They will advise of the area and give a map, if need be. Because this is Europe, do not expect a massive, excessive hotel room. It is small by US standards. Nonetheless, it is clean. I actually thought my bathroom was as large as my sleeping area! My particular room had a cute little balcony over a small street. Opening the window out and sitting out on this balcony listening to the Italians at night when my body was awake at 0300am US time with my Italian wine was pretty surreal. I am sure they were also drinking, because I could hear one Italian guy singing ! I loved it! My room had a stocked mini bar and coffee and tea maker. The bathroom had a bidet and towel heater and lighted mirror. Nice little touches that nicer places in Europe give you. The lobby has a small, pretty bar. There is also a restaurant. Again, it is open to the standard of Europe, at 2000p, when Italians take their dinner, NOT when American’s take their dinner! There is also room service. I really like this hotel. Easy access to much about Rome. The staff is bilingual and well versed in the area. The hotel is nicely appointed. Can’t wait to go back!

We were in Rome for 3 days &2 nights before our Mediterranean cruise and stayed here. Located near the center of Rome, this was a very convenient location for us because we wanted to jam as many sites within those few days as possible. We heard about the atrocious traffic in Rome and decided that a hotel near the areas we wanted to see was important. This is located near the Trevi Fountains and not too far away from the Colosseum and Vatican. You can walk to the Trevi Fountains, but need a cab for the other 2. Our room was small by modern US hotel standards, but it didn’t matter to us because this hotel was very old and had a historic feel to it. It was comfy for us. There’s a small bar in the lobby. The lobby is designed in marble and rich, dark wood… we loved the architectural design and finishes of this place. The staff was very helpful and hooked us up with a private Vatican tour that was simply amazing. That will be covered in another review. Overall, this was a pretty good place for a short stay.
