This place is top notch. After the slight disappointment of the pool not being open for the season, absolutely every aspect of our stay was fantastic. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The spa has all the essentials — beautiful well stocked changing rooms, a jacuzzi, two steam rooms, and a sauna. Plenty of towels and robes. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms have marble floors and bathrooms. The amenities are high quality. They clean the room in the morning and neaten up again at turn down. They provided us with the newspaper of our choice. They even called out and had pizza delivered to the hotel late night when we couldn’t find a place that was open. Free bikes. Minor improvements — The room had a slightly strange smell. The breakfast had all the right elements, but frankly, the food could be a bit better. Post on the website when the pool is open/closed. Great hotel!

Though it’s not in the very center of Rome, but it’s close to famous Villa Borghese and they have shuttle bus cruising to Piazza Di Spagna according to it’s schedule if you don’t want to walk. Marvellous hotel building, ancient one — of the 19th century, where used to be an abbey. They have an outdoor pool surrounded with gorgeous trees where you can relax and forget the noise and craziness of the big city. Great breakfast, featuring their local sparkling wine, smoked salmon and all other typical morning delights. There are two restaurants that are worth trying too for dinner, delicious. Or concierge can advise you other tasty places and make a reservation for you. Room service of course. They have couple of rooms with a terrace on the roof and few beautiful cozy suits. SPA featuring La Mer products. And a fitness center which I never tried, cause there is a magnificent park right next to the hotel where you can enjoy a beautiful run or endless quay few blocks away. Everything is very elegant and chic. Quiet isolated luxury place, excellent for couples or families and business trips too.
