This was our favorite place to get a cappuccino while in Rome and their pastry selection was the best of anywhere I saw while I was there. Mario took care of us and made sure we were always laughing when we left.

Once a must-​go place in the Prati area, together with the not-​too-​far Vanni, nowadays it has been passed by many other places offering quality at the same level and better prices. Still, Antonini is an institution in the area and offer great finger food, sandwiches, ice creams, pastry, and much more. Always crowded during lunch break, with all people from nearby offices, and popular for aperitifs during the afternoon. Sitting down may be a bit risky, as service supplement is pretty high on already high prices, but consuming at the bar is worth. Absolutely recommended the zabaione ice cream.
