We were looking for somewhere to get a good beer as my husband is not really a wine drinker and he had been drinking wine with me all week. He has a very defined palate for American IPAs but likes to try different beers. We got there pretty early in the evening and the kitchen was only serving snacks. They have outside tables but we sat inside as it was a little breezy and we had been outside all day. They had a large selection of microbrews both on tap and in bottles. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about the beers. It would have been nice if they listed the prices because when the bill came the beers were quite expensive(12 Euros for a single beer). I drank a bottle of wine for around $ 28 Euros, which was quite good. The food was pretty good. We had chips and salsa when we first arrived; there was nothing special about those. The burgers were very good with some interesting twists, but you can just get a regular burger if that’s what you want. The buns were very good, but bread is generally much better in Italy than I am used to. We also shared some fries which were above average. It would not be my first choice for dining in Rome, but if you are with someone who is homesick, it fits the bill. And for what is was, the food was great.
