Oh, Italy! The place for pasta and pizza and everything that is delicious. I, like most Americans visiting had no idea where to eat a good, relatively inexpensive meal. Well my friends, that has all changed. This pizza place is a little hole in the wall down a street I didn’t even know existed. I was actually looking for another place to eat when my fiancé and I just decided to stop because we couldn’t take it anymore. We had been walking for the better part of 4 hours looking for a particular shop and decided to eat somewhere. The best decision I could have made. I’ll start with the pizza. I’m a simple guy when it comes to pizza, usually I’ll just have the cheese or margherita pizza. I might add some basil, and if I’m feeling adventurous some onions and green peppers. On this night, I decided to have the margherita pizza. I asked how much and was shocked to hear it was 5 €, I thought it was for just a slice. But I was too hungry to go somewhere else and paid. When the pizza came out it was really big and easily split into 2 big halves to share. When I finally managed to get a bite in, I couldn’t believe how GOOD it actually was. It was incredible to get a pizza this good for the price. My fiancé then wanted to have some beer, so we got a couple and I figured that’s where they’d get me. So we finish our meal and the lady serves me a shot of a drink called limoncello(tastes like a lemon head but with 25% alcohol), delicious. When I go to pay, I had to do a double take. All this for 9 €. We loved it so much we went back a second time before leaving Rome. If you’re ever there, make sure to stop here. You will not regret it!
