Small place friendly service. Food was very good. Had mussels(cooked like clams casino style) and a salad. Both were surprisingly good. My boyfriend had a chicken roll with cheese in the inside and covered with bacon and sautéed veggies. Although a chicken roll does not sound appetizing it was really tasty. Cost was a bit high all things considered but definitely a place I would go to again.

A delicious meal in a nice setting. Plenty of space inside and air-conditioned if you are looking to escape the summer heat at lunch time or mid-afternoon. The restaurant is tucked away with greenery around the outside seating to screen you from passing cars. The food was delicious — especially the Cicilian antipasta and the Tagliolini allo Stromboli. The Tagliolini was a very light and refreshing pasta on a hot day. We went as a family of seven and shared three antipasti dishes, three insalata mista, two pasta dishes(primi piati) and a couple of the meat dishes(but they were both the same beef dish which was the most expensive on the menu). The beef dishes were very large and also well-prepared. They were thinly cut and cooked medium-rare(brown outside, pink inside). We also had four bottles of mineral water and only a half bottle of wine. Service was NOT included in the final bill of 166 euro and the bill had a suggested tip amount of 23 euro(we left 24 — or 15%, which is on the high end for tips in Rome, but since we were a large party it seemed right). So, at 190 euro that was about 27 euro each, which is close to $ 40 per person. Not cheap, but the prices were appropriate for the level of service, the setting and the quality of food. You could easily pay as much at other locations which may not be as nice and are clearly capturing the tourist dollar. Also, though we tried to muddle through in our limited, travelers’ Italian, the staff spoke English and probably understood us better when we spoke English!
