A very overpriced meal for just decent food. We were so hungry and nothing else was open(we were between lunch dinner times). Items were more or less pushed on us(that we never asked for) and ended up paying for. Very, very disappointing for our last dinner in Italy.

Great food! The only place in Rome where I had wood fire oven pizza, and it was delicious. Highly recommend trying the pizza here

This place is an abhorrent ripoff preying on the stupidity of tourists. It robs them of the experience of typical Roman cuisine which is superb and affordable. I stumbled in because it was Sunday so the restaurants I’d selected were closed, and I had to grab something quick because of a pending engagement. The house wine(garbage) was € 20. Normally house wines at Roman restaurants are much better and cost about € 6. The pizza was barely edible. I had to add salt and oil just to get it down. They added gratuity/service to the check, fine, then handed me a glass on limoncello — a common courtesy — and told me that«tip,»(written in ink) was at my discretion. All this after I’d squandered € 40 on dog food. If you want good pizza go to Nuovo Mondo. It costs 1⁄3 the price and will blow your mind. In general, please avoid restaurants in the city center of Rome without research of their reputation. Especially on Sunday’s.

Can’t we give zero stars? Where to start: the food was terrible, terrible, terrible. Everything we ordered was horrible tasting, but the prize went to the saltimboca, with was made with rotten mean, The prices overinflated, they charge 5euro(!) for a coke, charge for bread and 15% service(not surprisingly because the service was so bad nobody would leave a tip otherwise). This place is a TOURISTTRAP worthy of a farcical play. Stay away, or the joke(and inflated bill) will be on you

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon. It was a nice experience although a tad expensive. The complimentary champagne that the serve was excellent. We next had wine that was amazing. I had a sweet moscato and my husband Pinot Grigio. Next we started with calamari as an appetizer. It wasn’t bad. It was fried light with a thin layer of batter. For our first course we started with Cannelloni. It was ok. It didn’t have much flavor it was a little bland. For our second course meals I had sliced with chicken with arugula, mozzarella cheese, and tomatoes with roasted potatoes & grilled veggies. The chicken was cooked really well with good flavor. The potatoes and veggies were also really good. My husband had a T-bone steak and the potatoes and veggies that we ordered to share. He said his steak was not bad but not his favorite. He had it cooked medium well. He said it was seasoned well but the texture just wasn’t what he was looking for. Last, my husband had the panna cotta with strawberry topping. He said it was good and he enjoyed it. The staff was very nice and our waiter was good. The main thing i did not like was that at the end they basically«asked» for tips in a nice way. They kept mentioning how a tip wasn’t included in the price and when he got ready to swipe my card, he asked if I was going to put a tip and how much tip I wanted to put. I really didn’t like that. You made your point the first time you told me that tip wasn’t included don’t keep mentioning it in other forms. Overall we had a great experience.

We have been walking by as tourists and had some food and two beers, and they charged us 170 € for four persons. A standard beer is 8 € and takes long to order. The food was average — Pasta OK, but small portions, Pizza generally average. Better go other places.

Ate here twice. The first time was better than the second time, primarily because of the waiter. The second time, the bill included a service charge that was more than the first time we ate here(about 12% instead of 10%) and then the waiter insisted that the charge was not the tip and that we should add a tip. After spending time in Naples and Rome, it seems like some restaurants do charge a cover charge, which in Naples was typically 1 – 2 Euros per person. In Naples some restaurants charged a service charge(a servizio) in addition to the cover. That was typically 10−15%. So for this restaurant, they hit you with a servizio of 12%+ and then the waiters try and encourage you to tip on top of that. So keep that in mind. I was also surprise that in the same week with two dining experiences that the billing was not consistent. That was ODD. The pizza is good but this is a restaurant I would only pay the bill with cash.

You can do better. It wasn’t an absolutely terrible experience, but compared to other restaurants, you can do much, much better. The staff was friendly for the most part and they have a very decent selection of beer and wine, but the food was pretty bad. We stopped here for lunch. It looked decent, but it wasn’t. I had the pasta amatriciana, which my wife had at a far superior restaurant the previous night. The pasta was cooked well enough, but the sauce tasted purely of salt. My wife had pizza which was fine, probably one of the better things to order on the menu, but still when compared to other Roman pizzas, total crap. To top it all off, at the end of the meal our waiter pressured us into giving the staff a tip, in addition to a service charge already listed on the bill. Bull crap, dude. I know what«servicio» means, no matter what you tell me. Very rude. Also, you need a new hairstyle.

I am going to keep this one short, as every time I think of this place(can’t call it a restaurant in any shape of form) I just spit feathers. Not been to Rome since 1995 and loved it, great people great food, what on Earth happened? Wanted one night with an upmarket restaurant, you know spend a little more and so far the standard of food and service were a far cry from 1995, all rubbish. Well if you see this place carry on walking by, no I mean it run by it. The food ! well it wasn’t food, certainly was not home made, it was terrible crap on a plate. They tried to rip me off with the prices of wine and grappa(in fact what he was trying to charge for the one glass of grappa I could get a full bottle of the good stuff), even though I told them exactly what I wanted, and I even said to them when I was ordering I was sick of restaurants trying to rip me off since I had arrived. I refused to pay all the bill, something that is everyone’s right, and I paid what I considered reasonable and that was still too much, Well my god the staff were not only rude but started to get touchy feely, saying you are coming this way to see the boss(what was he mafia), now no one touches me and he was very lucky to still be walking when I left. Well it got very heated with the head waiter saying he was going to call the Police and screaming at me and I am not making that up he was screaming, I told him go ahead I don’t care but you are not getting any more than that. The waiter in question, I think he was a head waiter, you can’t miss him spitting image of one half of Jedward, no word of a lie, could have been their long lost triplet. In the end the Boss ! could see I was not going to give in, and just said ok and Jedward number 3 just scoured at us as we left, shouting I will have to pay for your meal. Meal? had better mud. Keep well away, it says above I must give it a star, but if I could do minus a million stars I would

After a week of great food and wine in Rome we finally fell foul of the infamous Roman waiter of yesteryear. Almost stereotypically obnoxious and without the food to excuse it, avoid this restaurant at all cost.
