just «okay». came here for lunch on a slow day – there weren’t many people in the restaurant. the pasta was uninspired and sadly not memorable either. the baby octopus was delish. hope to give due ladroni another chance but prices are high.

Great restaurant with superb seafood and lovely waiters. We stumbled across this place and almost weren’t going to go in when we saw the prices but it was tidally worth it! I had the spaghetti with baby octopus to start with the grilled squid as my main. I have nothing bad to say about either. We were given some cookies and biscotti with our bill free of charge, a nice gesture and these were delectable too!

Just love this restaurant. The sea bass carpaccio is to die for and so is their fried squid! Top it off with their apple pie… the waiters and owners are as friendly as can be! Always there to strike a friendly conversation or even just lend a helping hand! Love this place!!!

This restaurant would be terrific on a warm night at 10pm or later in the summer or spring. The Italians who frequent this place are upscale and interesting to watch. The people watching and the food were terrific. No locals arrive before 10 but the place fills up so get there at 9pm, and you’ll have some limoncello while the beautiful people arrive.

The name literally means «Two Crooks/Thieves»
Lives up to the name as it feels as if you are back in the ancient mafia days with this very OLD school joint.
Seafood is out of sight, but make sure you are ready to pay up. This is close to the Pantheon so you can stop in after walking around and not directly in the main tourist trap in the center.

This is the best local Italian restaurant we have eaten at in the entire week we have been in Rome. The fish was superb, perfectly prepared and fresh as if had just been caught. The clientele was local Italian customers. The staff could not have been nicer. Try it you will not regret your choice. Reservations needed. Crowded by nine.
