Ice Club

Novelty, yes. Fun… yes! C’Mon it’s an ice bar. Go in, have a drink… check it off your list and enjoy! The cover charge covers your coats and a drink voucher. I enjoyed sipping my drink from my ice made cup, sitting on an ice chair in an ice mini room. I’m from Texas where it’s hot almost all the time, this was a nice experience that holds its whimsical charm. Try it out :)

Interesting place. Don’t really know what to think about it. Compared to some famous ice-​bars (like the one at the Mandalay Bay) this place is rather small and cheap. But, somehow you will meet a lot of tourists and locals and have a few cheap drinks with before starting into the real glamorous nightlife of Rome.
So, if you don’t know where to go out in Rome it is a good way to start the night or to finish an expensive shopping tour! ;))

It’s cool for we say «go one time and never more» take some pictures, enjoy the –5 atmosphere, the drinks are made out of vodka and not this tasty, but if you wanna get a buzz…
If you are a tourist, get the map that gives you another free drink. Enjoy the experience. Go with nice winter shoes and collants and pants. Take looootsa pictures and check it out of your «things to do before I die» list.

Fun novelty experience. Spendy cover charge, but drinks were affordable for the area. We enjoyed it very much!

Yes this is a tourist trap, yes this is an ice bar. The drinks are pretty cheap here! Atleast compared to the ice bar in Stockholm. It felt so good to come here after a hot day of exploring Rome. If you bring a map you can get a 2 for 1 special. So your 2^nd drink is free. I had the frozen sun and cool emotion, the frozen sun tasted better, the cool emotion was tasted too much like cough medicine. I really like the cubicles here, a lot of private space for you and a buddy.

Dès notre premier jour à Rome, on apprend l’existence de l’Ice Club, et le soir même, on décide d’y aller. Le bar n’est pas très facile à trouver car il se trouve dans une petite ruelle (et notre plan n’était pas très précis)
On y est allé vers 22h30−23h, il n’y avait pas beaucoup de monde.
Le gros point négatif c’est le prix: 15 €/​personne pour l’entrée et un cocktail.
Si votre hôtel vous a donné une carte de la ville, il est possible que vous ayez une promotion dessus, c’est-à-dire un deuxième cocktail offert.
Comment ça se passé alors? Vous commencez par mettre une grande cape autour de vous, une sorte de poncho pour éviter de mourir de froid (même si en jupe et débardeur, j’avais pas mal froid quand même!) ! Ensuite, vous rentrer dans un sas déjà un peu plus frais, puis hop, direction le grand froid !
La pièce est vraiment petite, et sans toilette. Mais les murs sont fait uniquement de glacé tout comme le bar. Des bancs de glacé, avec des cousins de fourrure, vous attendent ! Mais entrez donc dans un des deux igloos, et asseyez vous avec vos amis ou votre amoureux pour passer un moment inoubliable !
Les cocktails sont servis dans un verre … en glacé ! Donc né buvez pas toujours au même endroit car la paroi s’amincit ;) !
Les cocktails sont assez originaux (genre avec de la vodka au melon, ou ce genre de chose), mais il n’y a vraiment pas beaucoup d’alcool. C’est sûrement dû aussi au verre en glacé qui, en fondant, dilue l’alcool.
Malgré tout, ils sont vraiment bons. Ils proposent même des jagger bomb.
Bref, ça coûte cher et on se demande s’il y a de l’alcool dans les cocktails, mais c’est vraiment une expérience inoubliable que je conseille ! :)

The place is not very big the décor is clearly all made of ice, except for the seating area’s which are covered in fur.
price to get in was 20 euros, this covers entrance & one drink .not too bad. upon entering they tell u, u can stay as long as u want but that is hard to do because the temperature inside is –5 degrees celcious (23 F).
I must say I liked the place, the drinks were good, they had decent music a bit of older songs but not a big deal.
the place has a steady flow of people in & out. we managed to make it an hour here & glad we did .
the place is obviously not your typical place to go we had a good time, i would have no problem returing again.
