We were starving and craving pizza, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have tried a place this close to the Pantheon. But we were so pleasantly surprised, that we came back the next day to get lunch. Their«pizza al taglio» is fresh, has a very crispy crust, and is cheap! Around 3.50−4 € per sandwich(they cut the pizza slice in half and fold it) depending on the weight.

One of thousands of takeaway pizza joints in Rome — I was prepared for this place to be pretty bad because it’s just a few blocks from the Pantheon. Surprisingly, the pizza was fresh, delicious and very reasonable. I had a broccoli & sausage pizza which was fresh from the oven. It’s not a combo we see in the States and that is too bad! The sausage was wonderful and a bit of cracked red pepper on top added heat and extra flavor. The proprietress was friendly and there were actually some locals eating here. If you’re in the area, you could do worse… a LOT worse.
