This place is open late and close to our hotel so that is why we went. I had expectations from the reviews, but I was kind of disappointed. We had the buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham to begin with. The mozzarella was bitter to me at first, way more than the American ones. It tasted better with olive oil, salt and pepper added. The Parma ham was salty like the other hams I’ve had in Rome so far. Adding that, with olive oil and pepper to the mozzarella seemed to be the best combo. For main entrees, we had the beef steak with veggies and gamberaccio linguine. The beef steak was like it was listed, 200g of a cut of beef. It was a thin cut but bigger than my spread hand. It was good but nothing special. The linguine had really good sauce, but shrimps were crunchy, not soft. The noodles didn’t seem to be handmade. :( They have an English menu but couldn’t really explain the different cuts for the beef steak vs the beef filet.

Food was ok nothing special that stood out, wife’s gnocchi was good, I had the swordfish pasta with walnuts. Almost no fish in it. But the finally was I noticed our waitress was refilling the flat water bottles from the faucet and then replacing them in their cooler. Did it with every person who ordered flat water. People seemed to like their pizza.

Really nice restaurant. Local fresh food. The house wine was really yummy yet inexpensive. Our server was very helpful explaining dishes to us. She even split our bill 3 ways which was the first time in Europe they would do that for us! Helpful when traveling with friends.

Absolutely delicious. Had the spaghetti and the beef with arugula salad. Great portions. Went late at night and had a comfortable chow session. All around satisfied. You can’t go wrong with just the spaghetti, believe me.

Our hotel recommend this restaurant. Was 10 minutes walk, but was worth, we got a Botle of chianti classic, and the waitress recommend the pasta of the day, made fresh with seafood. The service was very friendly, and helpful, in Roma is been hard to find nice, or less rude service. My fiancé, love the desert, I like, but was not my favorite. Also good thing, they open late!!!

Small neighborhood restaurant, friendly and helpful waitress . Moderate price. The Classico wine was good, the arugula salad with cherry tomatoes was fresh, and we had the chefs special seafood fresh pasta, which was really good. For desert we had the Napolitan cake which I liked and my fiancé did not.

What a nice surprise! Right near the Camelia Hotel, and Stazione Termini area. Great menu; fresh fish(seabass, swordfish, sea bream, and salmon), pasta, and cheap(but good) wine with good pizza offerings. Lovely server who helped us with our italian. Pleasant quiet atmosphere.

We love pizza in Italy and this did not disappoint! This Napoli style pizza was excellent. We had an appetiser(smoked mozzarella with ham… which was also very good), house wine and 2 pizzas. All very good… and too much food for 2 people. The portions are good size. We got there before the dinner rush around 7pm and had no problem getting a table. By the time we left the place was packed. Seemed like it was a mix of tourists and locals. Always love to see locals eating at the restaurants we try… a good sign that the food is good and it’s not touristy! Highly recommend this restaurant. We were staying in Piazza Republica area and it was a very easy walk to the restaurant. The other thing we liked is they waited for you to finish one course before they cooked your next one. You didn’t feel rushed and the food was freshly prepared. Two thumbs up.

My husband and I wanted to try Napoli cuisine and found this on Unilocal. We went on a weeknight around 8:30pm with no reservation so we had to wait for 30 minutes. We notice a lot of places in Europe take reservations(especially the non touristy ones). Well the wait was well worth it! It appears only one of the waitresses speaks English so she served us. We ordered the grill calamari and veggie pizza. Both dishes were delicious! Calamari was very fresh and we both enjoyed it. Our waitress was friendly and nice. We notice eating in Europe you have to really ask for the bill. As in really asking like 2 – 3 times. The culture is so relax from the American fast pace environment. Overall we would come back and eat here again.

If you’ve tired of Roman style pizza(why would you?), then this is a perfect spot to get a Neapolitan style pie. Get a beer to go with it. You won’t be sorry.

My straight to the point review: Pros: –Both our plates(seafood pasta and pepperonata pizza) were perfectly seasoned and did not require salt and pepper(see pictures) –good customer service overall from both our waitresses. Yes, two waitresses. –fairly priced: I would say 1 Euro sign for overall price — portion size was above average as compared to nearby restaurants(see pictures) Cons: –language barrier as one of the waitress did not speak English while the other did –restaurant was the first in Italy to charge a service fee(10%). We ate at a few places in Rome and never was charged a service fee –Bait and switch? Restaurant advertised a 15 euro menu combo(see picture) out in front that included a 1st course, 2nd course, wine and coffee. When we asked for this offer, they informed us it was limited to only 1 specific plate from each course menu! Yes, 1! Keep in mind, each course menu had a selection of at least 10+ options. Overall, food was great but OVERALL service kept it from being a 5-star review. Boom!

This place is reasonable priced. I ordered the mushroom sausage pizza and it was cooked to perfection! You know a place is good when there are Italians eating there!

This restaurant was decent but I would not consider it very good based on my experience. I had an entrée which consisted of a meat cutlet in oil and rosemary, and roasted potatoes. The potatoes were good but the meat was a little dry and tough. It was not bad though.

Given the reviews of this place I really expected more… But it was just so-so, nothing too special. We went as a group of five so we got to order quite a variety of dishes. Pizza was good according to my friends, but nothing outstanding. The risotto was undercooked and too salty. Seafood antipasti for 19 euros was quite filling and had lots of stuff — mussels, anchovies, calamari, baby octopuses — and was good, I like the mussels and my friend really liked the calamari but the anchovies were meh. We also had the linguine with prawns in pumpkin and pesto sauce. The plating was really interesting(made into a swan with aluminum foil) but taste was a bit too salty and too oily; noodles were well cooked though. We had the house white wine too, which was really bland. Service wise main course took over an hour to arrive which is pretty standard Italian restaurant speed, our waiter seemed really impatient and in a bad mood. Menu itself looked so sketchy and low quality… There was like a «.,!?; replace texts with *!!» sign at the bottom of every page… Overall everything’s pretty average, better than touristy restaurants but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

From the welcoming savoury and buffalo mozzarella starter to the Neapolitan pizza, good price, excellent service and atmosphere — all good.

Very good seafood for a reasonable price. We went twice during a four day stay in Rome, and it was full of people both nights(mostly Italians) which is a good sign of the food quality. Don’t fall for the tourist traps, go here!

Imagine a restaurant where all guests are Italians. All of those Italians are having pizza. Do I need to add anything about its quality? Perhaps just a warning — it is really huge. Definitely the best pizza I found in Rome during my 4 days trip. And they didn’t rip me off, which is quite important in Rome … Not sure about the opening hours though… Tried to visit them for lunch(noon), just before leaving Rome. No success — they were closed :(
