Fun late night spot for something sweet. Has a non-discrete underground feel. Nothing fancy, just come in to have the special pastry that they’re known for.

The owners Don’t speak English. But we managed to get a variety of sweets. The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed the capuccino too.

What a great find — — I love Unilocal! What to do when it’s your first night in Rome and you’re somewhat jet-lagged? Well, yeah I found this place as I was scrolling the app on my phone — — and obviously, I had to go here cause I love sweets! A bakery open from 9pm to 5:30am? Yes, please. :) I was somewhat unsure of the safety of walking from my hotel(in Via Veneto area) to here… solo female traveler at 2am, but it was totally fine.(Well, on a Tuesday early morning anyways…) Even the front desk guy at my hotel advised to definitely try their dark and white chocolate flavors. Well… I had to grab an assortment to «research» the best, of course. I chose dark chocolate, white chocolate, caffe, and nutella. Probably the caffe and nutella were my favorites. But Sabrina A & Stephen F are right in that they somewhat resemble a croissant with a bunch of cream, more whipped cream, and sweet flavorings drizzled on top. Soooo good! There is no other place like this I hear… the only place in the world that serves the Sorchetta. But apparently it’s quite common in Italy for bakeries to be open late, as the Italians love their sweets. Why not 5 stars? The service wasn’t overly friendly…(granted it was 2 in the morning…) But I’d definitely go back on future visits to Roma.

Need a late night snack in Rome? You must come for a sorchetta. I am told it is one of a kind; made nowhere else. A flat croissant with cream, topped with whipped cream and Nutella. Amazing!!! We went at 5:30am after a long night. Just what you need before bed! They also serve pizza and some other pastry. Located near Termini station — via cernaia 49a, 185

As I was flipping through the italian TV channels at midnight, i came across a show that featured this hidden gem! So I decided to leave the house in my pajamas to get a midnight snack from this restaurant. Luckily my friend knew the owner and his son, so we got to go inside the kitchen to see a kitchen full of mouth watering desserts and pizzas. This is the place people go to late at night for a bite when everything else is closed. It’s open until 5AM. I ate their famous Sorchetta(Their most popular dessert) Sorchetta is similar to a croissant and has a yummy cream on top of it. It was so delicious! The place was full of people between the ages 20 – 30. I loved my experience there and I would highly recommend it! Tootles
