Worst place I’ve been in Rome, it was cheap but food was awful. Tiny place and there was no place to sit. Three of us tried to eat at table for two and they said no. Asked for a table and they waved and said to go. Food was bad, and there was no service. Language an issue if you speak English

When you go to Italy, you expect to try the real deal on the first night. However, our first experience in Rome was middle eastern since they were close to our hotel. We had a nice experience, the food was really tasti and the service, which is not the best in the world in Italy, was really friendly and professional. It’s a place to go with no doubt. Just watch what you order, the bill is not cheap at the end of your meal.

CLOSED! No street number out front, no sign indicating a business at all. The shutters were down(like a garage door, common in Rome) over the space between 12&16 Via Augusto Valenziani, so that was most likely where it is located. No idea if closed for good, for the month of August(like many do), or for the national holiday they had yesterday(4 day weekend?). I was surprised that there was no indication whatsoever of a business at the location.

So yummie. On fridays they have the fish Kebab and it is very good, they also have turkey. It is always served at the table with a side dish of hummus and other dips. Lunch is the best time, at dinner it will get full quickly and you may have to wait for a table but lunch is perfect. Nice marble tables!

I had high hopes for«Kebab,» given how bad most of the other kebab places in Rome were, but it just failed to deliver. Clearly they’re putting some effort into it, but the sandwich(much more like a shawarma than a doner) was drippy and messy to the point of almost falling apart, with too-bland lamb and incredibly tart yogurt sauce. I guess it is cheap and a change of pace from panini and pizza rustica, so if that’s good enough for you then it might be worth a try.

Service = excellent Food = good. We had the mix kabob(beef & chicken) with a side of basmati rice. This is one of the better places to eat around here, esp when you’re sick from eating crappy Italian food. Atmosphere = good
