Nice looking hotel near the Roman forum. Very quiet at night. Large rooms and clean. Odd items keep the star rating lower than I would expect. 1. Could never get the bathroom heater to turn on. Spoke to the front desk twice. Once they sent an employee to the room to fiddle with the unit. Promised heat in thirty minutes. No heat for the next two days. 2. Oddest shower unit I have ever seen. Zero instructions on how to work. No shower curtain but a glass panel covering about 50% of the opening. Contained about 70% of the water, rest on floor. Ceiling had water stains, I assume room above had the same shower problems. 3. Breakfast was ok but not up to standards set by the other four hotels during our stay in Italy. 4. The wi-fi required a sign in every day. Not difficult but a bother. Once you got in the speed was slow and sometimes you waited a long time fit downloads.

We absolutely enjoy this place and it is the only place my sister and fam stay while in Rome. Great location. Very good breakfast. Excellent coffee, cappuccino, and pastries. Ask for a room by the garden. Otherwise you will face the street and if you are familiar with any European city, the road is right outside the front door with cars zooming by at all hours. Our room was extremely quiet to the point I wondered if there was anyone else in the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Fresh eggs, sausages, pastries and plenty of them. The beds are firm and very low, but there was no pressure points at all. Comfy fluffy plush pillows and I slept better here than at home. The rooms are totally decorated the European way so, bed, armoire, nightstands, bidet, shower only. No tub but no prob. Some of the rooms have a tub, I am told. We had no problems at all with the staff, in fact they are extremely helpful. In the bar, which connects to the dining room, you are served fresh cookies and other snacks. You will have to ask for ice if you are used to having that in your drinks. Our rooms were cleaned every day, toiletries such as shampoo, lotion, shower caps, and a little package of q tips and cotton balls were replenished daily. Everything was and did smell fresh. Our experience was the total opposite of the other reviewers here and we were here at the exact time of one of the reviewers. We had no glitches whatsoever and the stay passed with no problems for the entire week. NONE. There is staff that does not understand much English, but I think it was my fault for asking where is the ATM instead of bank, and then trying to inquire as to where is the @ sign on the keyboard was a challenge, but who cares? No need getting knickers in a twist. I don’t want to give America a bad name by complaining about next to nothing. It is very quiet on the courtyard side, and as for the reviewer who said it was boring, go make your own fun sweetie. This is a hotel not a circus. No one smoked in the hotel at all nor did our room(240) smell like smoke.

MOLTOBRUTTO! Last year me and my family came. We have lots of babies and pranksters here so revenge can be very extreme. We came at night from Paris, we got a huge suite but still not enough room for us but whatever. My aunt opens the mini bar and there are still opened drinks there, you guys are too lazy to clean up??? Not only that everyone coughed nonstop because of the cigarette air left by the previous guest(s). No one would take their shower because we were disgusted by the weird brown stuff inside the bathtub!(It gives me chicken skin when I think of it) there was hair all over the bed and the tv had nothing to do with HD. We only stayed there for one night, I don’t think we would survive more. So during the day I decided to make a fake secret diary(parents don’t know) and we wrote: DEAR diary, I had the worst day of my life, ever since we entered here, my lungs hurt, I can’t take my coat off I’m too scared, I won’t put a thing in my mouth and I won’t put one toe in that bathroom, I really miss home in Paris, nothing to do with this horrid place. I laughed so hard I left it on the floor pretending to forget to pack it, then when we checked out, men started to follow my mom and they said«Wait up wait up! One of your kids wrote something very offensive!» And my mom said«ask them we have nothing to do with this letter, it’s their independent opinion, and we would also like our money back!» And the man proposed us to stay in this so called room where some prime minister stayed. WEDON’T CAREIFHESTAYEDTHERE! Maybe the prime minister had bad taste in hygiene. My mom promised she would write a critic and I’m doing it for her. Anaelle Sandrina Anne Marie Nelly Hihi we wrote the fake dairy!!!

Tranqulo y acogedor. Ubicado en un lugar tranquilo, no muy lejos del Coliseo, es el favorito de estudiantes y grupos turísticos. Sus habitaciones son sencillas, limpias y a buen precio, teniendo en cuenta su ubicación. Metro B Colosseo
