This is good food. The service was fast as well. I had the Parmesan steak and it was good. I would advise going here.

Very spacious and cozy restaurant which specializes in food from the Parma region. you must try a tray of sliced cheeses and/or ham. The pastas were all homemade and quite delicious. Service was good and I can highly recommend this place. Contrary to another review it is easy to spot on the road I have attached a picture

Terrific experience for three of us in mid-January. Francesco de Vecchi runs the place like a circus ring master and is a professor of all things pork and Parmesan. His knowledge and enthusiasm(and English) makes selecting the dinner a great conversation. The meal was awesome and the service was special. High quality beef steaks, pork loin and stuffed pasta.

Made an online reservation for Christmas Eve for my family since we would be travelling to Rome. Arrived to find they were closed. I received multiple reservation confirmation emails so they could have easily cancelled it. Found a much better place across the street from them anyway…

I cannot think of a single word to describe our Parmaroma experience. However, the words amazing, awe-inspiring, mouth-watering, delicious, fabulous, and perfect do come to mind. We came to Rome during our summer vacation, and were struck in awe by the quality of the food, the excellent ambiance, and the lovely personality of the host, who took a significant amount of time to come and speak to us, as we were the only tourists coming into an Italian restaurant at 7:30PM. He even personally recommended Italian restaurants in San Francisco, near where we are from! Some highlights of our meal included the aged Parmesan platter(the owner is from Parma, a town that exports Parmesan cheese and Parma ham, both of which are heavily featured on the menu), the Eggplant Parmiggiano(no pasta included in this stellar appetizer!), Asparagus Risotto, and a decadent tiramisu. Parmaroma is a hidden gem, and a must-see for all visiting Rome.

We were very hot and tired when we entered Parmaroma. You go downstairs into a multi-room space. Beautiful space. You feel as if you are in a work space. Our server could not have been more attentive. The food was well prepared.

Good food, good service! TIP: it’s easy to walk past and not realize you’ve done so, since the entrance stairs are at street level but the restaurant is actually underground.
