We booked this hotel due to some good reviews on TripAdvisor. When we first walked into the lobby we thought«oh no, what have we booked?!». The lobby can surely use a new touch of paint. After de check-in our opinions were better. Friendly staff, very helpfull with all our questions etc. The room was very clean and tidy, nothing to add to that. A good place near the metro which goes straight to the heart of the city. Good price/value hotel in Rome!

Re di Roma is just a few subway stops away from the main Termini. We found it to be a conveniently located with easy access to metro. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good — They had the regular cold Italian breakfast with Croissants, rolls, ham, cheese, juices, coffee, cereal, yogurts and fruits. Our room was pretty decent and clean. The hotel bathroom was a bit small but so are most in Italy. They also have a 24⁄7 bar inside the hotel which you can use. We never ended up using it but saw few people there pretty late at night. Also, they have a free Internet station in the lobby, which you can use incase you don’t have your own laptop with you. Front desk staff was helpful with tips on areas close by that were good for food. We would definitely recommend this place

We stayed at Hotel Re di Roma due mainly to the great reviews on Trip Advisor, along with the lower cost. We were very pleased with our stay! First of all, Re di Roma is in southern Rome, just a few subway stops away from the main Termini. We found it to be a pleasant location, with some of the best pizza around! The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with the normal fare, such as croissants, ham, salami, cheese, rolls, etc. Our room was on the 3rd floor I believe, and was quite spacious. It has a modern feel to it, which we liked. Although the bathroom shower is small(as with most in Italy), it was manageable. To our pleasant surprise, we had actual air conditioning, which was uncommon in even fancier hotels. They also have free WiFi in the rooms. No complaints! I would highly recommend to others, and will stay again if the opportunity arises.
