Great place to end a long day of walking near the colliseum. They food was very good — prices were very reasonable and the service was exceptional ! They went out of their way to be as accommodating as possible. Very clean inside . You won’t go wrong !!

Stopped at this café on our way to the coliseum. My take is simply pass by it. The food is out of the box pasta and fairly expensive. Probably the worst Italian I had in a long time and I’m from the states. I ordered their mussel pasta and the size of the mussels were laughable at best. See one of my pictures. The pasta itself was loaded with oil and or butter which made the taste very heavy. My friend had the fettuccine with chicken which look runny vs creamy and the penne pasta that was literally Chef Boiardi — esque. The only redeeming factor are the location and their waiting staff. But yes. Just walk pass it. Save yourself € 20sw/person

If you’re pressed for time and want something close and quick, this is ok. If you’re looking for something to represent the best of Italy, move along. Pro: Close to the coliseum, like right across the street. They also have super-friendly staff. Free wifi! Con: We had pasta that seemed it was out of a box. The chicken I got with my Alfredo seemed to have been pre-cooked. The bread the gave us for dipping was crusty and stale.

One star for the location. Excellent proximity to the Colosseum. Beautiful view! One star for the service. Friendly wait staff. Very attentive and welcoming. Zero stars for the food. This is a mediocre restaurant with boring food. All pasta are store bought dry pasta. I’d expect something more authentic. We had a mussel dish in which the mussels were SO tiny! Tomato sauce tastes like it came out of a can. Not very impressive. Zero stars for the price! Seeing that it’s not very authentic, the prices are overrated. Also, they charged us $ 5 for a can of soda! I think they only did it bc we were tourist! Soda wasn’t listed anywhere on the menu so we couldn’t argue with their price! Zero stars for overall experience. My recommendation: GOSOMEWHEREELSE!

Very good made to order food. You can pretty much order whatever you want and they will make it for you. The staff is friendly and attentive. Unbeatable view of the Coliseum. The price was good and so was the food. Recommend!

Trinkgeld.

We enjoyed our meal here. There are a thousand of these street side cafés and they’re all beckoning you in, so we chose this one not knowing what to expect. The food turned out very well. We had the ultimate pizza with seafood and the large antipasti platter with meat and veg. Both were very tasty. I am a pizza hater but I loved the pizza –thin as paper crust and not a ton of cheese. And the toppings were generous. Friendly staff too.
