We stayed at an Air bnb right around the corner. This place came highly recommended. I had the spaghetti, my daughter had the cheese pizza and my wife had the ravioli. The service was great and the interior is decorated with Italian celebrity photos of whom enjoy this hidden gem.

We were optimistic at first. My father in law ordered a delicious pasta with artichoke and crème sauce. I ordered the saltimbocca — I had to ask the waitress if the plate was dropped… Three tiny pieces spread out over the plate in the middle of three leafs of lettuce. They brought the wrong food to my mother in law, brought me the second half of my saltimbocca after 45 minutes. The tagliatelle was tough, the vegetables were tough, the service was horrible — it is a special skill to have four people at a table eating at four different times. Food alone is three stars with one star taken away for the clusterfuck of the experience. But great outdoor seating. Except for the dumpsters on a hot summer day.

Met some cool folks and I asked them where is a good place to eat. They dropped me off here. Loved the place, the people and the food. It’s not fancy but it is certainly a quality spot. Neighborhood quality greatness. This place is certainly returnable if I was a local.

This restaurant deserves the 5 stars — their pasta is very flavorful and cooked to perfection, served in very tasty sauces. Staff is friendly, just a great experience overall!

While visiting Rome I’ve eaten here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The Insalata Del Contadino(salad with pears, walnuts and Parmesan) was delicious. I had pasta with asparagus cream sauce on one visit and tortellini with ragu sauce the next. Both were great! The prices are good and the service was great. Will go back again!

This restaurant served us the most disappointing experience and meal we had not only during our stay in Rome, but during our entire three-week-long, four-country trip. We were seated outside at the table right next to the entry, served Cokes, and blatantly ignored(our«Mi scusi, signore?» pleas were not answered by the few waitstaff walking in and out past us) for what was probably about 30 minutes, though others — yes, even other tourists — arrived and were served. We should have paid for our drinks and left at this point. Perhaps you’re thinking we offended them unknowingly, but really, I can’t think of how. We issued the standard greeting, words of gratitude, etc. We received stale bread with hard-as-rock end pieces. Our bruschetta was burned, soggy, and covered with tasteless tomatoes. Our main courses arrived about 5 minutes apart, so my boyfriend’s food grew cold while he kindly waited for mine to show up. The main courses, eggplant parmigiana(which had an odd metallic, slightly burned taste) and rigatoni with sausage and mushrooms(which was quite flavorless), literally turned our stomachs. This establishment was recommended by the host of our B&B(Angetode B&B, right up the street — would definitely recommend staying with Valentina despite our poor experience with this restaurant she suggested!) and we were instructed to tell the waitstaff that we were staying there, but we did not. I wonder if that would have affected the quality of our experience? Normally, we wouldn’t take a host’s recommendation for fear of kickbacks or friend/family liaisons driving the suggestion rather than true appreciation of good food… we’ll certainly never do it again.
