Got pizza and lasagna. It was decent, had better pizza at three other restaurants down the block. The service was OK, just was a weird waitress there. We spoke enough Italian to get by ordering but used English this time since they automatically provided English menus. Tried to order a coke zero and regular coke, she was like non parla inglese. Before I can switch to my Italian, she took off to get a male waiter who spoke better English. Then 5 min later a British lady who spoke purely in English literally ordered a coke zero and regular coke saying the same exact thing. Then even ordered food in English and was customizing her food. Wtf! I used 50⁄50 English and Italian but I had a feeling it was not a language barrier, so weird of her.

After our wedding in Firenze, my wife and I spent 3 days in Roma. The woman who ran our BnB recommended that we grab dinner at Rossopomodoro. The food here was the best that we had in our entire stay in Italia. The staff didn’t speak any English but they did have English menus and if you’re able to speak enough Italian to order food, ask for the bill and say thank you, you’ll be just fine. This ristorante is worthy of your time.
