The food was perfect, the courtyard is wonderful. It isn’t cheap, so do not be cheap.

We went there because it was listed as a restaurant that other chefs would recommend. Also, the seafood market in the front of the restaurant would make you think that the seafood here would be incredibly good. I had a single serving(500 g @ € 10⁄100 g) of the local sea bass, which can only be described as adequate — and definitely not worth the price. And the service was not acceptable for the cost of our meal.

In an upscale seafood restaurant near the Pantheon I had the best red snapper I’ve ever had. Ever. All of their available seafood is displayed in the front window of the small restaurant. Going on through the restaurant you access their patio area. We dined there, but it doesn’t have views or any breeze, so the advantage of being outside is diminished. They have a very nice wine list and we had another great Italian white, this one from Orvietto. We shared a very tasty seafood salad. The main course fishes are ordered(and paid for) by weight. I ordered a nice size piece of grilled red snapper. I didn’t want anything fancy, just a good piece of fish. Wow, was it ever! Freshness has to be the secret. It was perfectly undercooked. But that can only accomplish so much. This was simply phenomenally fresh. Memorable. Service was good, not great. And the setting was a disappointment. Hence only four stars. I wouldn’t avoid this restaurant, but I’d always pick nearby La Rosetta over it.
