The food it typical North Indian. They have a good food. It was right across the street from the hotel where we were staying. It is a definite welcome change from the Italian fare. I ordered chicken tikka. It tasted good. The curry fish, which my wife ordered, was very good. The owner, a Punjabi woman, was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Food was good but very slow service. Waiter was friendly but they were understaffed and we had to wait an hour just to get our order taken. Service was incredibly slow even for European standards. Would recommend going to Maharaja instead of here as staff and service is better. On the upside the food was pretty good so worth going if you have a lot of time to kill.

i have been to US, NZ, China, several countries in SE Asia. If you look at taste of the Indian food, this is an over-rated restaurant compared to what all we have tasted in other countries. Dal Makhani was under-cooked, vegetable portions are too small even for a single person. Tandoori bread was not that great either, though portions were more than enough for 1 person. Beer bottle was not chilled enough, but we had to take it since it was opened by the time it was served on our table. On other part, the service was very nice. We could a separate area since there were 8 of us and we had pre-booked. Waiter was very friendly and so was the hostess.

Authentic fresh Indian food. Amazing quality and taste! Very nice ambience and very nice service. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. I had garlic naan, shahi paneer, dal makhani and jeera rice and everything was delicious! Will surely come back whenever I visit Rome!

Great Indian food in a sea of Italian. We had chicken Tika masala, curry fish(excellent), and onion naan. The samosas were great too! We found this hidden away spot across from our hotel(Palatino). The service was really polite, décor minimal, and prices very decent. We had a hearty lunch for 4 for 72 euro!(No alcohol). Server and owner are fluent in English and the menu is in English as well.
