You are certainly only paying for the amazing building. It is plenty expensive but there was no soap in the bathroom (had to ask for some) no lotion, tissues or «luxury items», despite the luxury price. Breakfast mediocre and the same items reappeared every morning but no way of toasting bread. The reason I gave it a three star was for the incredible staff, warm and welcoming. Whatever they are paying Charlie and Stefano, it’s not enough. We felt that the place was struggling and cutting corners, such a shame. We were due to stay 5 nights but left after 3
