You can either sit inside with the soccer on the TV or outside on the deck. I am sure the latter is more romantic but, being cold, we opted for the former — it felt like a true Italiano experience! Started with the antipasto platter which is beautiful. It included smoked tuna, smoked swordfish, smoked salmon, octopus and anchovies. Shared it but could have eaten every delicious morsel by myself. Then I had the famed ravioli with prawn sauce — wow, wow and wow. Brilliant. The other half had a special seafood soup which was overflowing with fresh seafood. We had the house wine which was up to scratch but nothing special and the bread was excellent and freshly sliced. Recommend for a great dinner.

Dined here for lunch two days ago and had a nice experience. The view is awesome– right at the Marina Grande in Sorrento. We had the crab cocktail for our app– it was ok. There was a bit too much mayo sauce over the meat for my taste. For entrees we had a platter of mussels and the crab stuffed ravioli– all was really delicious. The blush sauce on the ravioli was fantastic. With that food, 2 beers, and a hot tea the meal was € 60. Very good meal.

If you’re staying in Sorrento you should absolutely have dinner here ! The view, dining with the sound of the waves and directly on the beach is an amazing experience. The staff is very welcoming and will always come and check on you. The food is perfect, they have a wide variety of seafood and fish of the day. The wine is very good too(and cheap as well!!). It’s THE perfect place to have a very –movie like– romantic dinner ! And the cherry on the cake. A lift back to the hotel !

Worst service I have had in a week in Italy. The food is above average — Spaghetti with clams and generous calamari in very good red sauce. Would have been four for he food –and the view– but the staff is downright disrespectful. They appear to care only for tables of wealthy looking British socialites– they had the attention of the owner and four waitstaff — meanwhile I asked for the check, in Italian THREE times and was ignored. I asked, as best I could, for a glass of white wine, as long as it want ant Chardonnay. The waitress crossed her arms, announced she didn’t understand English, and went to the table of British socialites. I cannot recommend this place except for takeout.

We went here based on the Unilocal 4.5 star rating. Location is good. Service was okay, except we were a little early for lunch, which doesn’t start until 12 noon, so we had to wait. Had the specials for lunch, which were grilled fresh tuna and crab ravioli. Remind me never to get«specials». The crab in the ravioli was sandy, and the ravioli were chewy. The tuna was so overcooked, it was hard to get off the bone. The view was impeded by hotel guests(obese) changing into their bathing suits in front of you. Gross, or entertaining, depending on your viewpoint…

So glad the Hilton Sorrento recommended this jewel of a restaurant. My family started with the Bruschetta, Garlic Bread and Octopus salad. All were fantastic. Followed by the special, Crab Ravioli, which was terrific. My daughter had a very tasty Gilt-Head fish which she thoroughly enjoyed. Nothing like sitting outside on a beautiful Sorrento evening with fantastic service. Highly recommend this restaurant. A huge bonus was the shuttle service back and forth from the Hotel. P. S –House red and white wines were very nice. We were too full for dessert but maybe next time.

Really enjoyed eating here. It was pretty quite in the winter but it was worth while. We walked from downtown Sorrento to MG looking for seafood. Homemade crab ravioli in a clam Sauce!

This is a seaside treasure! We loved the mixed seafood antipasto. The crab filled ravioli and sea bass were extraordinary! On top of great food you couldn’t beat the view! Also do order the house wine, it’s very good.

The view here is unbelievable. Sorrento is beautiful. The owner gennaro is the son of the original owners and he is such a sweet man. He was very helpful and his food was extremely fresh. We ate so much and the wine is just delicious! We found his restaurant via google. Wish it was Unilocal but I’m contributing here. We order the prosciutto but it was just okay. The seafood is a must. We got mussels, fried calamari, bruschetta, seafood pasta, red snapper, and grilled prawns. Omg the food was all amazing! I don’t want to go home!

We has just arrived in Sorrento and Marina Grande last night and, after an indecisive wander around the marina, landed here. We’re pretty spoiled when it comes to delicious seafood — and food in general — but this met and even exceeded expectations. We shared a delicious fresh caprese salad with delicate sweet tomatoes and toothy soft mozzarella. I savoured my spaghetti vongelese and my darling enjoyed a pepper steak and grilled veggies(which I poached liberally). The view was spectacular, the service professional but very friendly and we’ll go back. Highly recommended.

For the view and the food, this place gets a pretty solid 4 stars. Service is very nice and food is quite good. We stumbled upon this place around 11pm and they were flexible enough to accommodate(I believe they close around 11pm). The seating is right next to the water and the food is pretty fresh. They do charge 2 €/person cover charge, but I think that is pretty standard. Overall, pretty happy with this place.

A solid family run eating establishment. When you first walk in you’re not sure if you’ve made a wise dining decision. The overall appearance is not the best but when you’re seated and take a look at the menu you start to feel at home. The food is authentic as it gets and all of the seafood on display is fresh. Classic and simple preparation with wonderful ingredients. Try the octopus casserole. You won’t be sorry.
