We attended a wine tasting here during a family reunion. It was fantastic. I’m not a wine drinker, but they made wine interesting as they discussed everything from wine pairing to the soil used to grow the grapes. In addition, they welcome questions! I highly recommend this place to any travelers who want a relaxing, interesting, and entertaining experience!

We just happened to stumble upon Vinosofia and it was a real treat. The owner was extremely gracious, helpful and knowledgeable about all things wine — and Italy! Lovely aperitifs and really warm and inviting atmosphere. I would strongly recommend popping in. As the other reviewer mentioned there are of products(wine and beyond) that make great souvenirs. We bought up the store.

We just spent 13 days in the lovely town of Spello. Every evening we would go to Vinosofia and have our wine, aperitifs and great conversations with Brenda, the owner. Such a beautiful way to end a long day of touring Umbria. I highly recommend VinoSofia for wine selections and many other great surprises. Brenda really knows her wine and the local wineries. We can’t wait to return next year.

We were so happy to stumble into this adorable little wine bar on a cold winter’s evening in Spello. In the cozy back room there was a fireplace with chairs around it, but we chose to sit at the bar instead. Our glasses of wine came with a small selection of stuzzichini, little nibbly things that one finds in Italy around the aperitivo hour. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. This wine bar is also a shop offering a tempting array of items that would make great souvenirs from one’s time in Umbria.
