Aeroporto di Venezia Marco Polo VCE

Marco Polo started out as a small small airport that looked like a bus terminal. To keep up with the times, it is now expanding again and it is back to being more of a construction zone. The arrival terminal is great and the baggage claim area is fine. Everthing is always clean and the roulette baggage claim area is fun. The part that I don’t like is the departure section where there is no seating before you go through security. Hundreds of flights leave a day from this airport and it is tough to find a place to wait before checking in. Also, the check in counters for flights open about 1 – 2 hours before the flight so if you arrive early, good luck finding a spot to wait with your luggage.
Once you do get beyond security, the shops are lovely and there is plenty of seating. You also get 6 hours of free wifi so that is really a plus.
To get into the city, the bus is your closest bet because it pulls up right at the terminal. If you are going to get a water taxi or vaporetto, be sure to give yourself 10 minute to walk along the construction zone path to get to the water. I also have to grip about the fact that there are no luggage trolleys at the water so that when you arrive with lots of luggage, the porters want you to pay them and hide all the carts. Little things like this make this airport so tourist adverse and I can’t figure out how a city like Venice that thrives on tourism can’t see how much they actually push the tourists away.

I only flew out of this airport — so this review is based on that.
Ease to get to — since not on Venice itself (no room in amongst all those windy streets) you have to travel to the mainland. Choice of bus or water taxi — I opted for bus, from the main bus station (though got confused trying to buy tickets as couldn’t do it directly on the bus and machines weren’t working properly)
Checking in — I was travelling hand luggage only, and since I was going Aer Lingus, had hoped that they would have one of the handy check in machines. Alas, this was not the case, so instead of just arriving and going straight through to departures, I had to queue up in the v long and slow moving queue behind everyone checking in their suitcases. For anyone else travelling like me, would recommend getting your ticket in advance (or leaving lots of extra time when you get there for queueing)
Departure lounge — not much to see, and expensive food only (wished I’d stocked up a bit before). Think I’ve been spoiled by UK and Irish airports.
Overall, it did the job (giving me somewhere to catch a plane from), but not somewhere I’d make an effort to get there early to enjoy

This airport is small but quite nice with upscale shopping, free Boingo Wifi, and decent dining options and souvenir shops. It is also quite convenient to the port where cruise ships depart from, as well as other transit connections.

There are some good things and some bad things about this airport.
For how big of a tourist destination Venice is, I’m always surprised at how small this airport is. That is where both the advantages and the disadvantages come from. Check-​in here can be an absolute nightmare. The check-​in hall is relatively narrow and long and if you have to check in at a counter at one of the ends it can be a real hassle to make your way through the crowds that are waiting to check in for other flights. Having said that, I recently had and EasyJet flight out of this airport and they now seem to have their own area on the lower level that was quite hassle-​free. Once checked-​in, the experience here is usually fine. As bad as check-​in can be, security is usually quick and efficient. There are also plenty of shopping and eating choices in the terminal, so you won’t be too bored if check-​in goes better than expected.
As far as arrivals go, connections from the airport are relatively good. You can fairly easily get into Venice itself or get to the main bus or train station for connections to other places in the region.
One of the best parts about this airport is that if you are dropping someone off, you can park really close to the main entrance.
All in all, this isn’t a bad airport. The main thing to remember here is to plan to get to the airport extra early as the time it takes to check in can be quite unpredictable. Also, if you are driving, traffic around the airport can be extremely unpredictable.

Italy will always bring out your inner shopaholic, and this rings true even at their airports. Louis V, Burberry, La Perla & the duty free shops every 10 mins will have you wondering if you’re still shopping in one of Italy’s high end shopping districts. There’s plenty of food options as well that offer everything from delicious italian coffee & wine, to nutella filled pastries, and of course, pasta dishes. Not sure when I’ll be back to VCE, but I know that it would be a welcome destination.

No es el peor aeropuerto de Italia, os lo aseguro. Desde Venecia podéis ir en autobús (desde la Estación de Autobuses que está enfrente de la de trenes) o en barco, el trayecto es inferior a 1 hora, y cuando llegas no tienes la sensación de estar en un aeropuerto enano de Tercera División.
La decoración es moderna, no de ese estilo brutalista desolador que, por ejemplo, tiene Roma Ciampino; hay multitud de tiendas de marcas italianas, varias cafeterías, muchos sitios para comer (evitad la infame hamburguesería de la primera planta), salas para fumadores, y una seguridad bastante bestia (¡ni se os ocurra dejar las maletas haciendo cola mientras os sentáis!)
Por lo demás, es un aeropuerto y, por ello, un sitio donde la gente suele estresarse por aburrimiento o incomprensión de su entorno (esto último es extensible a muchos otros lugares y situaciones), así que conviene armarse de paciencia y de libros, especialmente si tu vuelo se retrasa unas cuantas horas.

Nice and convenient airport, well connected, with good ground services.
Not too big hence without the big messy crowd on top of that a surely great looking take off and landing, in the end Venice is always Venice!

Basically four stars because you can get there by BOAT.
Found the checking in area a little cramped but once you were through passport control there was food, shops etc.

This is an easy airport to get around and manage. There are usually several English speaking attendants at each airline check-​in area that will help with any of your needs.
I will say that we learned our lesson quickly with checking in online before hand. It can literally save hours if the line is backed up. After several times of watching people walk straight up to the front in another line we figured out what the trick was. Check-​in online in advance and move straight to the front of the line.
There are nice stores inside and for the size they try to accommodate the need for charging phones, laptops, and other portable devices.
I’m happy to use this airport over several others in our area.

There are lots of lines to wait in before boarding your flight so it is always best to get here a couple of hours early! My international flight departed at 11:30am and getting here at 8:30 was plenty of time. You have to wait at the baggage desk, getting through security, customs, and then yet another line to get through the passport check into the international gates area.

The last time I had to use Marco Polo airport in Venice (about 5 years ago) it was possibly the worst travel experience I had ever encountered so was not overly confident of a pleasurable transit as we came in to land!
Well, there has obviously been a lot of work undertaken in the intervening years and the facilities are definitely much better however one design fault, which is shared by many airports around the world, as you leave baggage reclaim and emerge in to Arrivals, it’s a relatively small space situated right in front of the main entrance. So, as you would expect everyone from local taxis and shuttles, cruise and holiday companies and locals congregate in that area making it one huge bottleneck
A better experience but still room for improvement

Make sure you arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to your flight if you are flying internationally. We flew out of Venice on a Tuesday morning and waited 1 hour 20 minutes to get thru security and then got thru the gate and the line for passport control was super long again– another 20 minute wait there. Maybe it was an off day and they are understaffed, but we barely made our flight. It’s good they are thorough with security but just plan accordingly!
30 minutes of free wifi and you can pay for more if you’d like.
It’s fun to get there by water taxi from the city because you see the planes take off land right next to you

Un peu meme beaucoup bruyant… mes toujours un régal de déguster un bon espresso et un croissant a la crème «bien de la bas»! On se sent toute suite baigné en Italie.

VCE is a fairly small airport, but it’s clean and well-​maintained (currently parts of it are under construction). plenty of local transit connections as well if you’re heading out into Venice, and it’s efficiently laid out.
Boingo offers wifi here, and you can get 30 minutes for free.
the food options are a bit limited, but BriccoCafe has a lot of options and the prices are surprisingly not that bad. I paid about 6 Euro for a good sandwich and bottle of water.

Venice is a unique place and should be a must see on anyone’s bucket list though I’d recommend going during the off season to escape from the worst of the tourist hordes
It’s worth getting a window seat for the great views of the city and other islands sitting in the huge lagoon as you come in to land and on takeoff
Marco Polo is a modern airport and has a string of upmarket shops as befits its grand status. Getting through immigration was quick and the girlfriend and I were soon out
There are a few options to get to Venice itself but I felt there was only one way to do it properly — by boat. Be aware that it’s a long walk to the boat terminal and the signage could be better at a few points but keep walking to the end. There are very expensive water taxis but we took the Alilaguna public water bus, which took over an hour but we were in no hurry. It’s cheaper to buy tickets beforehand on the Internet and you exchange your voucher for a ticket at the dockside
On the way back, check in and security were again efficient. Our meal at Briccocafe was a slight disaster but overall a nice airport

Feels a little outdated in comparison to other airports, but fairly straightforward to navigate with the signs once you step off the plane. It’s too bad that I arrived at night, otherwise you would get a great view of the floating city of Venice as you are about to land!
The people are fairly helpful if you ask, but they didn’t look too pleased to help (probably because they’re sick of people asking the same question of «how do you get to the city?» etc etc). What’s convenient is that the bus stops are right outside the airport, so you don’t have to trek far to find them. Yes, you can be that fancy tourist and call a water taxi to take you there, but it was really easy (AND CHEAP). It made sense since the booked hotel wouldn’t be far from where the bus drops you off — so choose your hotel based on location wisely!

I found this airport to be easy and functional.
Flying in from the US, I found customs to be reasonable, getting our luggage was painless, and finding our way out of the airport to find our taxi guide was fairly simple. It was a quick walk to the taxis, and we were on our way! BTW, I 100% recommend taking a private water taxi to your hotel from the airport. Totally worth the cost! We had prebooked through our travel agent, and it made for a great way to end a long day of travel. We were greeted, escorted to the taxi for a private ride down the Grand Canal directly to the dock of our hotel. Perfection! We met someone at our hotel who had been on our flight, and it took them almost 2 hours to take the public taxi to our hotel!
Flying out I appreciated the few shops and places for food they had. There weren’t a lot of options for food and drink, but enough. Seating was acceptable if slightly cramped, and all in all it was uneventful.

Easy to check in. Just stick your passport in and BAM ticket comes out. Bada bing Bada boom. Careful when you are going through the check point bc I thought my uggs were stuck in the machine so I pulled it out & got yelled at. Why do you check my uggs for 8 seconds!!!
From the moment I checked in my luggage to getting a seat by my gate, it took about 15 minutes. This airport is tiny compared to JFK or LGA

Für einen Flughafen ok. Hatte bisher ein wenig Pech immer die Tage zu erwischen ald gestreikt wurde oder generell nichts mehr ging. Die Duty-​Free Area ist etwas klein aber angemessen für diesen Flughafen. Die Busanbindung passt. Alle 20 min. gehts nach Mestre oder Venedig.

Loved Venice, it’s almost coward to live this airport. It’s not far from Lido where we stayed, and the boat ride here was awesome. The sunrise was perfect, the boat was spacious, and we had room for our luggage as well. There are clear instructions in English at the airport, so if you don’t understand Italian or French, you will be able to survive here. Customer service here was on point, we checked in with Air France and we were helped warmly. The checkin process here was painless and less crowded lines. Enjoy the 1hr free wi-​fi as well.

Typical European airport. Does it’s job, but in a very unexciting way.
Good points are that it ain’t so huge that you get lost and it has good connections to Venice via the waterbus. Although it is a fair trek along to the bus stop.
Bad points are that it’s all a bit dull, especially if you get delayed and the food options are really really poor.
Really very average and could do with a dose of exciting shops and restaurants to pass some time in whilst you wait endlessly for your flight to arrive.
Best tip — eat before you get here!

Given the rest of Venice (pretty but cramped, and old as, bro) I didn’t have high hopes for this airport.
But, much like the movie Tremors starring Kevin Bacon, my expectations were not only met, but surpassed. First of all, it’s big and airy. It’s easy to get to. There are giant glass windows, schools of arty fish swimming on the ceiling, there’s wi-​fi yo, and dining options that kind of all revolve around the 3 staples of Italian food: pizza, pasta and panini (got monocultue?), and stand-​up espresso bars that you can stand up at and slug back one last macchiatto for the road. Because who needs to sleep on planes, amiright?

Netter, übersichtlicher Flughafen — der durch die enorme Anziehungskraft Venedigs Direktverbindungen nach Nordamerika oder in den mittleren Osten anbietet. Im inneren Bereich — nach der Security Control — ist es noch möglich kräftig zu shoppen. Hier gibt es gute Angebote, die sich aber preislich nicht stark von denen ausserhalb des Flughafens unterscheiden. Wartezeit war OK, der Flughafen ist OK, alles gut.

Nice airport with lots of space and a decent amount of shopping. Getting in and out is easy and the security line was also pretty quick. As we always check in online it was a quick brag drop and off we went blowing for bargains.
All in all pretty good compared to many airports I have been to and also reasonably efficient.

Kleiner praktischer Flughafen, günstig gelegen, gut von Meste und Vendig erreichbar. Easyjet und Air Berlin fliegen nach Berlin.

Ein durchschnittlich überschaubarer Flughafen. Man kommt zurecht. Das Personal war leider nicht so freundlich. Man kommt aber leicht durch die Abfertigung

Marco Polo wird nicht mein Lieblingsflughafen werden Die Damen von der Abfertigung sind nicht gerade freundlich. An der Abfertigung musst ich meine Stiefel ausziehen (juhu, dreckiger Boden!) und sehr schlaues Flughafenpersonal hat drauf bestanden meine Katze (italienisch Straßenkatze, die nach Deutschland überführt werden sollten) aus der Box (!) zu holen! WTF??? Beim Gate ging es dann weiter. Ich hab mir am Flughafen ein Buch gekauft und hatte nun neben meiner Tasche noch eine Tüte in der Hand, da wollten die Damen dann Geld für ein 2. Handgepäck. Bisher hatte ich keine guten Erlebnisse mit dem Flughafen. Leider. Da ich aber gezwungen bin diesen wohl weiterhin anzufliegen

Der einzige Airport der Welt wo man direkt bei der Ankunft in ein Schiff steigen kann und die Welt der Autos für den gesamten Aufenthalt komplett vergessen kann, sofern man nur in Venezia bleibt. Schon das ist ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. auch wenn der Airport nur der hoffnungsvolle Auftakt oder das wehmütige Ende dieser Reise in die schönste Stadt der Welt ist.

Kleiner, quirliger Flughafen, etwas schmuddelig und eigentlich für die Massen zu klein. Aber der Blick beim An– bzw. Abflug sind einzigartig!

Kleiner Flughafen der eigentlich alles hat was man so braucht. Der Anflug auf Venedig ist einfach sagenhaft. Man hat dann zwei Möglichkeiten in die Stadt zu kömmen: Übers Wasser oder zu Land. Letzteres ist die billigere Variante. Am besten mit einem ACTV Kombiticket für drei Tage und Bustransfer. Der Bus bringt einen bis Piazzale Roma, dort steigt man in das Vaporetto um. Alternativ bietet Alilaguna etwas ähnliches an. Dann mit Transfert direkt vom Flughafen übers Wasser. Ist ein bisschen schneller, aber Alilaguna fährt nicht jede Haltestelle in Venedig an. Muss man sich überlegen ob das ausreichend ist. Wenn man viel Geld ausgeben will, kann man auch ein Wassertaxi nehmen. Sicherlich die schnelleste Methode, aber dann verpasst man den schönen Weg durch den Canal Grande.

Accès depuis/​vers Venise sans problème en bateau (pas donne tout de même). Pas très grand donc, on s’y retrouve pas mal. Par contre, il est pas mal sature en été, queues a la sécurité

Guter, gepflegter und übersichtlicher Flughafen.
Man kann ihn gut mit Bus, Bahn und Auto erreichen.
Man findet sich direkt sehr schnell dort zurecht.
Der ganze Flughafen ist sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Zum Shoppen empfehlt er sich nicht so sehr, da dort alles recht teuer ist, aber die Auswahl ist sehr gross.

Aéroport simple, bien achalandé, bien connecté avec Venise. Acheter sur place la carte de transport pour le temps que vous restez sur Venise car non seulement le bus qui dessert l’aéroport vous emmèné directement à Venise, mais en plus vous pouvez prendre les vaporetti de la Sérénissime. Très bon investissement très rapidement rentabilisé (né serait-​ce par l’aller-retour à la ville).
Un des aéroports les plus conviviaux que je connaisse.

Ich persönlich find ihn ganz gut. Man kann schnell mit dem Bus oder Zug nach Venedig sehr günstig reinfahren.

Bei meinem letzten Besuch in November 2008 machte der Flughafen einen übersichtlichen und sauberen Eindruck. Die Lagunenstadt war mit dem Bus (3 EUR) günstig und in einer halben Stunde zu erreichen.

Solider Flughafen mit guter Erreichbarkeit zur Lagune, aber auch nach Mestre. Sauberkeit und Ordnung ließen nie zu wünschen übrig, allerdings bin ich mehrfach in Venedig gelandet oder abgeflogen und war immer überrascht, wie mit unvorhergesehenen Ereignissen dort umgegangen wird. Bei einer kompletten Sperrung des norditalienischen Luftraums in Folge von Schnee wurden die Passagiere mehre Stunden nicht über diesen Status informiert. Hinweise zu Flugausfälle und Verspätungen fehlten gänzlich und leider wurden auch keine zusätzlichen Mitarbeiter eingesetzt, die versucht haben, dem Chaos gerecht zu werden. Wenn man via Smartphone bereits die Nachrichten zur Sperrung des Luftraums erfährt, muss ein solcher Großflughafen, der auch viele internationale Gäste hat, in der Lage sein eine entsprechende Informationspolitik zu betreiben. Leider habe ich mehrfach erleben müssen, dass diesbezüglich ein erheblicher Verbesserungsbedarf besteht. Eigentlich mag ich diesen Flughafen wegen der traumhaften Aussicht beim Starten/​Landen, auch die Architektur finde ich gelungen, aber wegen der beschriebenen Defizite muss ich (leider) zwei Punkte Abzug geben.

Das schrecklichste Flughafenerlebnis, das ich jemals hatte… Hier wurde man wie Vieh behandelt und durch die Sicherheitskontrolle durchgeschoben. Vielleicht lag es auch an der Menge an Touristen, aber ich habe mich hier unglaublich unwohl gefühlt und war froh, in der Luft zu sein.

Überschaubar. Klein. Sehr gut ausgeschildert, gerade wenn man auch mit der Fähre weiter will (oder mit dem Wassertaxi, aber sehr teuer). Einfach nur den Schildern nach… Der Landeanflug ist schon sehr beeindruckend!

Es war schon das zweite Mal dass ich über Venedig an– und abgereist bin.
Der Flughafen liegt ziemlich gut erschlossen in der Nähe von Venedig und auch die Autobahn ist gut zu erreichen.
Das Restaurantangebot ist gut und preislich absolut angemessen.
Der Duty-​Free-​Breich — ist leider nicht wirklich einer, weil auch die Flüge in die Schweiz über den EU-​Bereich abgewickelt werden, allerdings hat es eine grosse Auswahl an verschiednen Shops (Bekleidung, Schuhe, Taschen, Souvenirs und sogar Essen/​Wein).
Was immer wieder ein kleines Problem ist, ist die Pünktlichkeit, es landet und startet kaum ein Flieger in der Zeit, was man aber bei dem Ausblick auf Venedig getrost vergessen kann.

Der Flughafen liegt in Mestro auf dem Festland gegenüber der Lagune.
Ich würde ihn als übersichtlich, gut beschildert und soweit sauber bzeichnen. Shops/​Restaurationen o. k in Quantität, Qualität sowie Preis.
Gute Verkerhrsanbindung nach Venedig, sowohl zu Wasser (in meinen Augen zu teuer) als auch mit dem Bus, der direkt vor dem überdachten Aussenbereich abfährt. Bus in meinen Augen preisgünstig (letzter Stand Dez. 2008 3 EUR) und fährt in ca. 30 minuten direkt an den Canale Grande. So kann man vom Bus ins Vaporetto fallen.

Ein ganz normaler Flughafen für seine Größe. Schick finde ich die Möglichkeit, direkt vom Flughafen aus ein Wasser-​Taxi in die «Stadt» zu nehmen — das gibt es wohl nicht überall. Obwohl der Weg zum Anlegeplatz doch recht weit ist.

Der Flughafen Venedigs gefaellt mir gut. Er scheint recht klein. Die Ankunft lief problemlos.
Die Ueberfahrt nach San Marco haben wir fuer Euro 13 pro Nase per AliLaguna Boetchen gemeistert. Zwischen Gepaeckband und Kai liegen ca. 5 Minuten, die gut ausgeschildert sind. Eine nette Aussicht hat man von diesen Taxibooten und gerade im Dezember gefaellt das Licht und die Atmosphaere — ein guter Einstieg in den Venedigurlaub.
Bei der Rueckreise kann man neben den ueblichen Zeitschriften– und Duty-​Free-​Geschaeften auch noch die eine oder andere kulinarische Leckerei geniessen. Das Speisen– und Getraenkeangebot ist sehr gut.

El aeropuerto de Marco Polo es el aeropuerto más cercano a la ciudad de Venecia. Está muy bien comunicado por Autobús y Barco, por lo que es posible llegar a la Estación de trenes de la ciudad en menos de 1 hora.
No dispone de acceso gratuito a Internet.
Se puede hacer noche en el aeropuerto.

Wer sich nicht in den spröde-​brüchigen, aber unwiderstehlichen Charme der Serenissima verliebt, hat kein Herz oder keine Augen im Kopf. So weit klar. Aber vor die große Liebe haben die Götter die Abschreckung gesetzt. Zu Dornröschen, Ihr erinnert Euch, mußte sich der Prinz auch erst einen Weg durch die Dornenhecke bahnen. Venedigs Dornenhecke heißt Aeroporto Marco Polo, sprich: der Flughafen. Natürlich liegt er nicht in Venedig, sondern auf dem Festland gegenüber, beim Industrie-​Örtchen Mestre. Der Flug aus Deutschland zur Lagunenstadt dauert, je nachdem, von wo aus man startet, kaum mehr als eine Stunde. Für die Gepäckausgabe sollte man mindestens das anderthalbfache einplanen. Dafür kann natürlich Marco Polo nichts, weil die Gepäck-​Logistik an ein Subunternehmen vergeben ist. Bei denen kann man sich gern beschweren, wenn man das denn kann. (Italienisch-​Kenntnisse wäre da von Vorteil. Und Nerven wie Drahtseile. Und ein paar Stunden Lebenszeit extra. Also lassen wir das mal lieber bleiben.) Der Fughafen selbst ist ein typischer (größerer) italienischer Provinzflughafen, ein bißchen schmuddelig, überlaufen, aber immerhin übersichtlich.
Daß man sich bereits in Italien befindet, merkt man freilich daran, daß sogar hier am Aeroporto der Espresso vorzüglich, und keinen Cent teurer als in irgendeinem normalen Café ist.
Der Aeroporto Marco Polo ist so klug eingerichtet, daß man vom Terminal zur Wasserbushaltestelle ungefähr eine Viertelstunde lang seinen Koffer durch eine überraschend öde Gegend zerren muß, zu Fuß, versteht sich, gegen Wind und Regen immerhin durch einen notdürftigen Plastiktunnel geschützt. Der Service der Venezianer umsorgt einen von der ersten Minute an! Das Boot der Alilaguna-​Linie, im Spätherbst im Unterdeck eiskalt zugig und brüllend überheizt zugleich, bringt einen für 12 Euro (!) pro Person in die Stadt. Das dauert 75 Minuten, weil auf Murano und am Lido gehalten wird, bevor sie einen zum Arsenale nach Castello bringen. Natürlich kann man es auch luxuriöser haben. In diesem Fall mietet man sich ein Schnellboot, am benachbarten Steg. Die verblüffend neu-​reichen Chinesen, die seit einiger Zeit Venedig bevölkern, haben die 30 oder 40 EUR dafür vielleicht übrig, wir nicht. Wir vertrinken unser Geld lieber in den Bacari.

Wir kamen mit Tuifly am Flughafen an und hatten eine lustige Wartezeit an der Gepäckausgabe. Das Gepäckband war wie ein Roulettespiel in rote und Schwarze Zahlen aufgeteilt, es gab auch eine grüné Null. So konnten wir Wetten abschließen, auf welcher Farbe und Zahl unsere Koffer landen würden.
Es hat leider keiner von uns den Jackpot geknackt. (wahrscheinlich hätten wir den Gewinn eh vorher festlegen sollen, um wirklich etwas zu gewinnen).
Dannach stellten wir uns für die Fahrkarten für Vaporetti an. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsschiffe dienen wie Busse in verschiedenen Linien in Venedig und an angrenzende Inseln wie Lido. Die Warteschlange an dem Schalter war ewig lang. Bis wir dran kamen, sagte uns die Kassiererin, dass wir dort nicht mit Kreditkarte zahlen könnten, wir sollen das direkt am Schalter vor den Schiffsanlegestellen machen.
Also stapften wir mit Gepäck ca 350m in der heissen schwülen Sonne zu den Anlegestellen. Auf dem Weg dorthin, warben Schiffstaxen um Gäste. Wir ignorierten die teuren Fahrtmöglichkeiten und kauften nach Erkundigung der Linien-​haltestellen und Uhrzeiten unsere Tickets mit Bargeld. Denn es war trotz diverser Aufkleber am Schalter für Kreditkarte und VISA etc. nicht die Möglichkeit mit Plastik zu bezahlen.
Die Anbindung des San Marco Flughafens ist wohl sehr gut. Denn die direkte Erreichbarkeit der Vaporretti (auch nach Lido z.B.) finde ich sehr angenehm. Es fahren wohl auch diverse Busse zum Buszentrum Piazza de Roma in Venedig.
Die Ausstattung des Flughafens:
Ich kenne nun nur den Ankunftsbereich.
Die Toiletten waren sauber.
Neben den Ticketschaltern sind auch Autovermietungen vorhanden. Evtl. einige Cafés. Genauer habe ich nicht weiter betrachtet.
Die Beschilderung zu den Vaporrettis könnte besser sein. Ich hätte es nicht ohne Beschreibung der Kassiererin gefunden.
