Outstanding value. Excellent menue. Trattoria with crab, gnocchi salmon, grilled pork cutlet, Fritoai vetrai fried mixed seafood What can I say? All choices were excellent! We have 2 more nights in Murano and we will come back here! Our best meal in Murano. Very good service!

Peaceful, calm place with great food and not overpriced. Would definitely recommend. Got house wine with seafood risotto, deep fried octopus and green salad — all was good.

It’s actually 3.5 stars but I am being generous, which is more than can be said for the restaurant’s service towards us! Actually quite an overall disappointing experience and especially so, because this place had been recommended by a NY times article(in Oct 2014) about Murano. So firstly, when we sat down, there was no bread basket provided, and we noticed this oversight as a lot of other tables around us did get this. We were a party of 5 and two people got the 15 euro daily specials, which was very good value. Mixed reactions to the first course(spaghetti with fish) as one person found it too salty. The grilled sole was better than the cuttlefish. The seafood risotto was really very good and the gnocchi was excellent, but the salmon used was smoked, and so some of us felt that upped the salt levels too much. We ended with macchiato(excellent) and cappuccino(above-average, but not as good as what we had in Lido). We decided not to stay for dessert because overall the service was indifferent and the food was mixed. Cost was 82 euros between 5 ppl incl bottle of water. Oh special mention — the bathroom really hit a new low for us(pun intended). It was unisex, without a seat cover(ok, which is now what we have come to expect in Italy) but this bowl was placed so low, it was practically squatting and very uncomfortable to use.
