Alice in Wonderland carries beautiful and authentic Murano glass pieces, but the real treasures are the hand-​made jewelry designed by Adriana Parma and the glass paintings by Ketty Parma. On my family’s trip to Venice, we stopped by the gallery a few times and then made a stop just before leaving to purchase gifts for family and friends. Although the high-​end glass pieces will run you a few hundred dollars, the hand-​made jewelry range is perfect for affordable but quality gifts (between € 8 and € 75).
Ketty was also happy to recommend a few local places to eat as well as help us find an Internet café where we could print off an e-​mail my father needed.
