This restaurant is the definition of Venetian traditional gourmet food. The seppie in Nero(squid in ink w/risotto) is to die for. The pumpkin gnocchi house special was wonderful. The home baked bread is one of a kind. If I could rate this restaurant with 10 stars that would be there rating. I recommend visiting this little gem while in Venice.

*Avoid this restaurant* We ordered two coffees in the early afternoon when the place was empty. Waiter/suspected owner spoke great English. Menu price of the coffees was 3.50 euro. Price charged: TEN euro. When I queried the price, waiter then decided she couldn’t speak English and said ‘no no that’s right’. Not feeling like arguing, we left. Any restaurant that is willing to screw a customer to such an extent over a coffee will surely be willing to screw a customer on any point. Funnily, a group of six of us were planning on eating there for dinner, went elsewhere and spent 200 euro. Ha! The best part is that we are staying above the restaurant, got their WiFi code and have been using their WiFi ever since(currently writing this review using it). Moral of the story: don’t be atrocious to your customers.

Ist eine Bank. Wenn man also auf Experimente verzichten möchte: dann hierher! Klassische Osteria. Immer voll, ausser vielleicht im November ., da sehr bekannt.

I am having dinner in the hallway but what great service and has a ton of gluten free options. Has gluten free pasta and so can make pretty much any pasta dish gluten free. Close to the Rialto bridge and a welcome warm place. Wine list is hand written and the owner knows each well. Prepared a great plate of gluten free antipasto with gf bruschetta

This restaurant is very hard to find because it personifies whole in the wall. The atmosphere is superb and the restaurant is Family run for decades. Get the clam spaghetti. The cappuccino was excellent and the termisu was to die for. Our dining experience was just perfect!
