Delicious. One type of pasta. Pick the sauce. I went to the other pasta to go as well and both are worth a visit! They have different sauces from each other.

Very good food, takes less than five minutes to make perfect dinner. Don’t want to eat in the place, good because you get your dinner in a cute little soup cup. All types of sauces with the pasta are good. Especially the meat sauce one.

Randomly found this spot while wandering around in Venice, what attracted us was the cute, smiley girl rolling out fresh pasta dough by the window. What a great PR move! We got the pesto pasta, which is served in a to go bowl, you can also get a lid for it. The pasta was so fresh and bouncy! The pesto pasta came with so much pesto and cheese, it was delicious! There was also free wifi, which is alwaaaays a plus. 5 eur for all pasta ?? Of course I will.

Did you read my review for the other to-go pasta cup place? Did I post that one yet? Yes? No? I don’t know. It’s a copy of that. Well, it’s not an exact copy. Bigoi was a welcome respite from the high prices for okay food that we found in the rest of Venice. What you get is a cup filled with pasta for a decent price that has plenty of flavor for your buck(err…euro) and will leave you satisfied. Plus it doesn’t close super early, so win for that too. As with all of Venice, finding this place is really the biggest issue. But when you are in a town full of nothing but alleyways, that applies to every single restaurant or shop. What did we get? What should you get? It doesn’t really matter. But you are in Venice, so go for the seafood if you can(really good seafood here). Friendly customer service too, which is always welcome. Compared to the other popular pasta cup place, I would say this wins out, if only for the fact that it naturally has a bit more flavor. well done, Bigoi.

Just arrived to Venice, Italy so to speak. And we were hunnngry! We looked at all the nearby restaurants and all had decent reviews! Saw Bigoi with so many positive reviews, so we decided to give it a try! We tried the beef pasty, considering there are really only two types you can try — vegetable being the other. And it was yummy! Semi-small portion sizes but it did the trick! So tasty! Definitely recommend!

Delicious sauces. Truly good pasta at a great price, given that it’s € 5 a bowl. Best we had in Venice.

This pasta place was recommended to us by our dinner companions from the night before. We were told that it only sells pasta(specifically spaghetti), had standing room only, but it only cost € 5. Having had spaghetti the night before, I wasn’t really keen on spaghetti but after touring the frigid doges palace from 8 to almost 12pm and then walking in pouring rain, I was ready for anything. The staff speak English. The shop is warm. There is a sign for all the different kinds of pasta in Italian and English. Tempted by Venetian seafood, I got the spaghetti in Venetian black cuttlefish sauce. My travel companions got the duck ragu, seafood, bolognese, and the vegetarian one. The spaghetti is made fresh and the staff boils the pasta in front of you and you are served within minutes. You are provided a fork and a serviette. I got a steaming box of spaghetti and added some chilli flakes to it. You can also add olive oil, fresh parmesan cheese, and salt. The black cuttlefish spaghetti is the best pasta ive ever had and I don’t even like pasta. There were so many pIeces of cuttlefish in it. Not stingy at all. The spaghetti is drenched in cuttlefish ink and I literally wish I had a spoon to scoop up all the ink on the sides and the bottom of the boc. I tried not to lick the sauce in public. I also tried the duck ragu spaghetti and loved it. This place is amazing. I walked out smiling, warm and my mouth and parta of my face blackened with black ink. This other customer finished his box of pasta and I saw him order another one. Guess that says it all!

Glad we visited this hip place, different from most other Venetian restaurants. The pesto pasta was fresh and delicious.

Love this place! Let me say better than any sit down restaurant that we have had in Venice and only 5 euros a bowl?!? We went from spending 100 euros of dinner to 20 euros and felt more satisfied!!! We got the Cuttlefish, seafood, mushroom, and duck ragu! All were good their own way!!! And the lady in the front was so sweet! I recommend this place to everyone

Great lunch spot. #2 spot on TripAdvisor. Delicious pasta with sauce of your choice at 5 Euros. All pasta is served in a paper bowl. Unfortunately, Standing room only and no drinks. Our favorite sauces are seafood and fungi(mushroom) sauce.

Love the fresh pasta!!! It was super delicious. Can’t believe it’s only $ 5. I wish we had a place like this in the states.

A must-visit when you’re in Venice! Their pasta is delicious and very fresh. You can choose your topping, my favorite was pomodoro(tomato), and my second favorite is pesto. The pesto gets old quicker than the tomato does, but they’re both absolutely delicious. They also have free bread to «scoop up the extra sauce at the bottom,» as the guy told me. …and the best part, it’s only € 5! What a deal! We had a lot of disappointing sit-down meals in Venice so we were very happy to find that this place was so delicious and such a good value.

Only things to you need to know… — Bigoi only makes 1 kind of pasta: An amazingly springy and delightfully chewy fresh pici. — Choose from 7 flavorful sauces: pomodoro, pesto, duck ragu, beef ragu, amatriciana(bacon), pescadora(seafood) and Venexiana(venetian/fish). — 5 Euros My boyfriend and I found this little gem by accident, and were we glad! We had 4 bowls of pasta from Bigoi in 2 days. We tried the duck ragu, amatriciana, pescadora and Venixiana. They all had distinct flavor and all delicious. The pici itself was positively addictive. This is a no frills place. Either you eat there, standing at a counter, or you can take it over the nearby bridge and make yourself a little picnic at Campo Margherita. I recommend the later, because you can get gelato at «Il Doge» for dessert.
