So lucky to have found this lovely place with delicious food and great wines ! Our hotel concierge recommended this place. He said it was just opened 3 month ago. My husband and I had dinner there today and we were impressed by the lovely atmosphere, the quick and attentive service, and the wonderful food and drinks! I also think that the cat logo is TOOCUTE))) it wasn’t cheap — we payed € 120 dinner for two(2 bellinis, 2 glasses of wine, 2 main dishes, 1 dessert and 1 coffee). It was expensive, but I think it was worth it. Give it s try and let me know what you think!

So you choose what you want to eat and they microwave it right in front of you. I really thinks NOT! It’s beyond offensive to treat food like that especially at a restaurant… The prices are not cheap either so I strongly suggest trying else where.

I GAVEIT A ZEROSTARIFAVAILABLE! Absolutely horrible, the worst dinning experience ever, ever. I didn’t expect Venice food can be so bad. They didn’t even display the real restaurant name at the place. They showed«SELFSERVICE» as their restaurant name and gave people the illusion of economical priced dinner. They charge EVERY item SEPARATELY if you think this is a buffet place. The food was all EXTREMELY overpriced. The fish, the meat, the tinned vegetable, and the tasteless, missing ingredient tiramisu, just taste awful, awful! And I ended up paying almost 40 euros for two, such a rip-off junk place! The people working there were mean and ready to rob you with everything they have got. Please, this place should disappear for good! I don’t want to see it operating next time I am in Venice.

We ate here on the advice of a french guide book. The food was overpriced tasteless and warmed in a microwave. Barked at by the staff while quickly ushered along the counter in this canteen style resto one has no time to notice the prices on the board that is hard to spot. Once you have chosen from the school dinner style food you can be shocked by the price you will have to pay for tinned vegetables, day old meats and poorly put together meals. Please do not go here! Have an overpriced pizza instead at another place you wont feel so bad as it will probably taste far better.

Avoid this place. Keep walking. Don’t stop. Just don’t. Italian restaurants charge a bread and service charge. So, if you eat at a self service cafeteria, you should avoid paying that, right? Wrong. Old food. When I asked what kind of pasta was being served and the person said that it was ragu bolognese with meat, I almost started to laugh because there was no meat. We ordered a mozzarella and tomato salad and were lucky not to get food poisoning. Run the other way.

Self-service means you can eat as soon as you select what you want from the several available options and seat yourself. You can also order pizzas, if you prefer. I was there later one evening, so pizzas were not an option and the food had gotten a little cold, but everything was solidly decent(not like some of the ‘menu turistico’ joints near San Marco who price-gouge you and serve you fish sticks). This place is just around the corner from the Hard Rock Café right behind San Marco, so if you find yourself in the super-touristy area around feeding time, and you’d rather have Italian/home-cooked food than Hard Rock fare(or don’t want to wait when Hard Rock’s crowded), then head away from San Marco past Hard Rock, take your first left, and look on your left. I hope to find myself in the area at a more appropriate time someday so I can give the ol laughing cat a more fair shake.

A essayer.
