Hotel Tre Archi was a hidden little treasure which exudes Venetian style décor. The room may be small but complete with all basic necessity. The hotel is strategically located at one of the ferry stop or if you decide to walk from the train station, it only takes you about 15 minutes. Every morning, we got woken up by the aroma of fresh croissant /bread coming from the kitchen. We totally miss that. It makes us so eager to go down to grab their free breakfast. Their breakfast selection was well rounded. Overall, we enjoy our stay here at Hotel Tre Archi.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Venice. The water bus-stop right outside the hotel was perfect. The staff was accommodating, they gave us directions, and most importantly allowed us to check-in early. We did not ask for a large King bed room, but the manager gave us one! The room was tight but two stories high. The windows and shutters on the canal side provided a great breeze, and sunlight to get my wife up and moving. If we come here again we will make this an option in accommodations.

Pretty nice overall. Mostly for its location and the charm of its décor. Staff was never unfriendly and always helpful with questions. Nice out of the way location and right in front of the water taxi stop. Not far from the stop on Arabia line if you ride the water taxi from the airport(which I highly recommend.) Take advantage of being away from most of the hustle and bustle

The hotel was very clean which was nice and the courtyard was beautiful with plenty of sunlight and chairs around tables. The rooms are clean albeit a little smaller then we would have liked(we had a triple and so the cot cramped things a bit) Unfortunately the free breakfast was iffy and you had to pay for wifi(who does that). Also the wifi was not accessible from our room since it was in the newer part of the hotel so we would have had to go to the main part of the hotel in the lobby to use it.

Hotel Tre Archi is awesome, mostly because it’s a hotel with hostel prices. The rooms tend to range between about 20 – 30 euros, which is great considering that the accomodations are more than up to European hotel standards. The front desk workers while I was visiting consisted of a man and woman both days. The woman was remarkably unfriendly, and the man wasn’t much better. But luckily my friends and I didn’t have too much interaction with them beyond checking in and checking out. Oh, wait! I lied, the man working the graveyard shift(a different man) was much friendlier. He helped me both nights with accessing the Internet. Wi-fi here isn’t free, but it’s a fairly resonable price. A half hour costs 1 or 2 euros(can’t remember exactly), and you have to go downstairs everytime you want to use it because they give you a different password each time. Also, the internet only works in the lobby, which is super awkward if you’re skyping someone… but oh well! The inside of the hotel definitely has a pretty posh, Venetian feel to it with a chandelier hanging in the lobby, and antique-y wallpaper all over the place. Our room had one massive bed and one single bed; the booking website said it seated four, so three of us got cozy in the big bed. There was a fairly spacious bathroom, and a dresser to put some stuff in. Basic, but functional. And definitely several steps up from a hostel. The best part about Tre Archi is the breakfast. For those who’ve backpacked or stayed in hostels in Europe, the breakfast can kind of be the make or break. The breakfast includes one drink from the espresso bar, and several food items such as cereal, pastries, yogurt, and cheese, along with a few other things I’m forgetting. There is definitely plenty of choices to keep you full until lunch while you are walking around site seeing. Oh, and how can I forgot the pretty water-front location? Sure it’s not a canal view from your window kinda thing, but once you step outside, you are right on the water. Beautiful! And, there’s a water taxi stop right out in front of the hotel. Nice, nice, nice location. I would only reccomend this hotel to young people or non-American adults who don’t have an incredibly high standard for hotels. But for young folks, this is almost a dream come true!
