My visit to this place set two new standards. 1) It was the very last time I will take a restaurant recommendation from a hotel concierge. 2) It was the first truly bad meal I’ve ever had in Italy. The other reviews here(only 3 as I write this) seem as if they must really be about some other, far better restaurant. Aside from being completely ignored for half an hour with our glasses dry, the pasta was soggy(my lasagne tasted as if it had been in the fridge for a week and defrosted 10 minutes before serving), the octopus salad had no flavor other than what hospitals call«instant bland» and the seafood dishes were fresh, but small and utterly devoid of character. And it’s not cheap, not even close: we paid € 134.00 for three, without wine or dessert. If your concierge tells you this is a great seafood place, tell him he can stuff his kickbacks where the sun don’t shine.

Good meal away from the touristy places. Excellent pasta and salads. The spaghetti bolognese and linguini with clams was delicious.

the food was uh-mah-zing! the seafood was as fresh as can be. from the mussels cooked in a tomato-wine broth to the cod with lemon wine sauce. the service makes you feel at home & he treats you like a regular. for 30 euro you can get a 4 course meal(not including dessert). the tiramisu is out of this world; the espresso used is extremely noticeable & will perk up any sleep head. everything was delectable. not touristy by any means & truly authentic venetian dishes.

This is a very good, slightly upscale, neighborhood restaurant. Not touristy(a good thing!), authentic dishes with some innovation. Enjoyable.
