A unique gem of a spot. Great place to spend the day and stroll the park enjoying the worlds best contemporary artists.

La biennale de Venise … un mythe dont j’ai souvent entendu parlé, et ca y est, aujourd’hui j’y suis allée.
Tout d’abord, les lieux d’expositions sont particulièrement bien agencés pour accueillir les différents types d’oeuvres: photos, dessins, gravure, sculpture, vidéo, projections sonores.
Les enchaînements entre les différents artistes sont savamment pensés et offrent des cohabitations aussi surprenantes qu’émerveillantes.
La densité et la diversité des artistes présentés rend impossible de faire cette biennale en 1 ou 2 jours. Alors il faut choisir, et à regret laisser certaines oeuvres de côté pour mieux en admirer d’autres.
J’en ai pris plein les yeux, parfois avec le sourire aux lèvres, d’autres fois en ayant la sensation de né pas tout comprendre, et d’autre fois encore en me disant que ça serait super dans mon salon… Bref, si vous aimez l’art contemporain, votre seule déception sera celle de manquer de temps pour l’apprécier !

I am not an art guy. Rather I judge great art on the presence of AC. I did this while in Venice and it was interesting visiting all the pavilions. It is done every year and it is themed by country. Personally I just like wandering around Venice but I am a heathen.

Venice Biennale event is occurring every two years and it’s a very interesting exhibition of contemporary art, dance, Architecture, film festival, theatre etc. The Giardini is main place where 30 permanent national pavilions are to find. Number of countries interested to expose is continuously increasing! So countries which don’t own a pavilion exhibit in other Venice city parts. Contemporary art paintings and different oeuvre were very interesting to visit. So, from inspiring pavilions we’d been we liked the British one which presents nice works and of course has the authentic idea to offer English tea + outdoor seats! The library in the Giardini was worth to visit too. Venice Biennale employees are very friendly, helpful and service was everywhere great! Admission fee is 25 €.
