was hatte ich hier gleich nochmal gemacht …

Habe 4 kleine Moca Tassen, 2x blaues Glas, 2x rotes Glas. MfG E. Franz www,

Had a visit to the factory on recommendation that the murano glass was beautiful it was, some lovely pieces especially the chandeliers but everything was very pricey, we enjoyed watching the workman making a glass horse and a wall light which was lovely, we were led and escorted into the shop but unfortunately we told them we were staying at The Hilton and were constantly pressured to buy, the salesman was far too pushy and really pushed us into not buying anything at all. Would not recommend a visit unless they back off trying to sell you and leave you to look at your leisure. Visit 21412 Edwards England

Web Link:

We were lured into this trip by a person in St Mark’s Square and thought it would be nice to see the workmanship of Murano glass. We were taken across by speedboat and escorted into the tour which was basically being shown how the glass is blown and shapes created. Thereafter we were shown into the shop to make a purchase. Unfortunately you were not allowed to browse at your leisure, but were escorted around by a sales person who constantly showed you things. Yes it was beautiful workmanship, but at around £600 for 4 wine glasses, I was not to be swayed. I wouldn’t pay £150 for a bottle of wine let alone one glass to put it in. Seeing the chandeliers was lovely, but at around £2,000 a piece, far too expensive for my taste and a little too gaudy too. Suffice to say the sales person was not impressed that we weren’t purchasing anything so they quickly showed us the door the back door that is which led directly to a small path and the water. We were left to try and locate some transport to take us back to the main island. If you are tempted to visit, it’s worth seeing the glass, but be prepared for a hard sell and some rudeness to boot if you don’t part with any cash!
