It is a very nice restaurant almost at the heart of Venice with very classic and romantic deco style. The hostess was very kind but my experience wasn’t the best at the restaurant since it was raining in Venice and it was so cold. They showed my girlfriend and I the menu and we ordered a pizza with spinach, a gnocci with tomato sauce and a plate of boiled rice with a glass of wine. The attention and the service was o.k. but it was very expensive, 50 euros all the bill and it was only pizza and pasta, I may understand that we are in Venice and the place is beautiful, but it was an empty place and actually it wasn’t at the main street or near the main attractions so I don’t think it was worthy. Just go for a pizza and wine if you are near and if it is rainning and you just can’t find another place near.

My wife and ate here while passing by. Pizza with spicy pepperoni(or salami as called) was terrific and highly recommend it. Service was very friendly — just remember to ask for your bill as they don’t want you to go. :)

Bedienung eher unfreundlich, mehrmaliges nachfragen nach dem WLAN Passwort blieben unbeantwortet. Keine Chips zum Aperol. Und teuer! Aperol spritz 7 Euro… Dafür ein schöner Blick auf die Leute.

Thankfully I didn’t check Unilocal until after we were already sitting down. The staff was perfectly nice here, despite other reviewers. One review said they charge a 10% service and 2E cover charge per person. Yes, they do, but it’s clearly written on the menu. Cover charges are customary here, and service is a tricky area for most travelers but 10% is pretty standard here, so I think it’s smart of them to add it in. Good, free, WiFi, and nice clean bathrooms are a huge plus. The food was very good. We each ordered a pizza and both pizzas were very good — I had the 4 Cheese pizza which was delicious; nice light thin crisp crust, good sauce and of course delicious cheese combo. The food was very quick, and the service was very attentive. Indoor and Outdoor seating options; we sat outdoors, since it’s under cover and nice to people watch.

Staff is nice for the most part. Food was not bad. Even liked the texture of the tagliatelle. However, we asked for two glasses of red wine. The waiter/owner said he’d take care of us w/his own choice. It was cold and tasted like old grape juice… umm, red wine in a box probably?! Hello… we are in Italy. Do you really think you should be serving boxed red wine to your patrons b/c you’re trying to get rid of it? Or did you actually choose this as one of your favorites? Either way, it’s not a good look. Wouldn’t recommend.

We arrived in Venice at about 9 pm and decided to explore before the flood of tourists got there in the daytime. We picked this place because we weren’t able to eat dinner yet and it was one of the few restaurants still open. Waiter was very nice and the glasses of house wine and food came out promptly. 3 of us ordered penne arrabiata which hit the spot. The others had margherita pizza and spinach pizza and those were excellent as well. We sat outside so it was great for people-watching and kicking back. One of the best meals I had in Italy.

Worst dining experience in Venice. Rude waiter. Oily and tasteless food. Terrible service. This restaurant is so bad, they aren’t even listed on Trip Advisor.

We came for lunch and had the pappardelle with mushrooms in cream sauce, spaghetti with meatballs, side of eggplant with tomatoes, profiteroles and lemon cake. The sauces were incredibly good and the outdoor seating was fun since you could people watch along the little street. The staff was very nice. Service was a bit slow, but didn’t matter since we weren’t in a rush. The cream sauce was one of the best I’d had in Italy. Would definitely recommend the food here.
