Really bad restaurant. Don’t go here. The menu is not representative of what they really have. They did not make any effort to accommodate a few vegetarians who were in our group . We looked at the menu, the guy in front said they have all dishes. When we sat down to order, the waiter started saying he does not have most of the dishes we were looking for. We left the restaurant and went elsewhere. Their concept of vegetarian food is pasta. I am sorry, a vegetarian dish should be based on one or more vegetables for it to be an interesting dish.

Stopped here with my hubby and friends for dinner– the patio was packed and with our last 2 meals in Venice being garbage we based it on the crowd of people. The host Roberto made us an offer we couldn’t refuse, «you don’t like your first course, you don’t pay and you leave» The food was delicious from the buffalo mozzarella, spaghetti alla vongola, homemade lasagna and massive calzones we were not disappointed. The homemade tomato sauce is supreme, which is a comment I rarely make. There are meal options that cater to all budgets. It doesn’t hurt to try out this affordable restorante for lunch or dinner.

We wanted to use wifi, and they said we could order coffee and use it. The cappuccino and tea we got were fine but nothing special, and way overpriced. However, the wifi was cut off after half and hour and they were very unpleasant about trying to get us to pay and move on. There were other empty tables, so it wasn’t like we were taking away business. After inviting us in for just this purpose, I was pretty miffed.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Venice. Service was just OK. The Lasagna was out of this world good!
