Stopped here for lunch. It was filled with locals. Had gnocchi and lasagne. Both were pretty typical. Service was friendly.

Our family of 4 ate 3⁄5 of our Venetian dinners at this terrific spot and should have gone 5⁄5. We pretty much ate our way around the menu and everything was top shelf. They’re seemingly a hot spot for the locals, so don’t expect quick service. Take your time, enjoy watching the world walk by and have another Proseco.

Their food is so good that we went back twice! Our local friend Roberto recommended this place to us and he was spot on when he mentioned that their seafood and pizzas were their specialty. We ordered the seafood platter appetizer which had at least 10 different kinds of seafood that were all fresh. Their Pasta Marinara had generous servings of seafood and the pasta was al dente. We also loved the Morbida pizza. When the bill came, we were surprised that it was very reasonably priced. The service kind of gets busy at night because the place is popular, but you won’t get annoyed because the servers are very nice. My next trip to Venice would definitely include a trip back here!

A lovely traditional restaurant near the Ponte Tre Archi, hence the name. Again, on the quieter and slightly less touristy end of town, but still busy. We sat outside on our first night in Venice and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. We had a well-priced bottle of Prosecco and two courses each. To start I had king prawns with garlic butter. The prawns were huge! Often I find larger prawns can have a poor taste or texture but these were great quality and well cooked. I would have liked a little more butter to match the quantity of prawn though! For my main I had an artichoke and ham pizza. The base was thin and crispy but the artichokes were a little too acidic for me– I think it was whatever they had been coated in. Over-all, in a place where it’s difficult to find reasonably-priced decent food, Tre Archi is doing both and is well worth a little extra trip to avoid crowds and disappointment. I don’t agree that it’s as mind-blowingly awesome as other reviewers did but it’s definitely than a lot of what is on offer in Venice.

I fancy myself as a pizza cook at home, but the Tre Archi pizza called for a total rethink. This was perfectly cooked and simply scrumptious. It made me sad to be leaving Venice. If you like pizza, and find yourself in Venice, do yourself a favour and check it out.

First of all wowza! Their tiramisu is excellent, best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted actually! The restaurant by the canal is across from our Hotel carnival palace and so we decided to give it a try. I order the grill seabass and it was grilled perfectly. My husband had the seafood spaghetti which comes wrapped in a big calzone, both items were great. The staff was very friendly too and helpful when ordering. Good stuff!

I wish I could be a regular at this place. In the slightly less touristy side of Venice lay this eating place, tables outside, right next to the water, sun shining down. Perfect right? Firstly the waiter we had was fantastic. Friendly, chatty, involved(but not to the point of putting you off the food aha.) The feel of the place was lovely, everyone seemed happily wrapped up in their own eating heaven. Of course I was completely comfortable till I tried the vongola. Then I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat seafood for a while as the taste of this blew me away. I was actually almost crying into my food I was so blown away by the beautiful flavours; and I was getting upset with every bite I knew my meal grew shorter. I wish I was overdramatising… I actually did get sad I had finished the meal. Oh yeah, by the way it was only € 11. I had lemon tarte for dessert, wasn’t as sour as I would of liked but I understand my want of sour tastes goes beyond what a lot of people offer. Their tiramisu was fantastic though. The whole bill came to € 53(including wine, two meals, three desserts and the service charge). I was told Venice was expensive before I went. I wonder where they ate to believe it was expensive.

A lovely place to eat on our first night in Venice. After a slightly chaotic start we were then treated to some delicious fresh seafood. A very enjoyable experience no matter what food you like. Nice tables by the canal, a real local with lots of Italians mixing with tourists.
