Wish I had read Jocelyn’s review before I went to this restaurant. This two stars are given completely to the nice staff here. I ordered spaghetti with clams, which is too greasy and has sand in it. The squid stuff is too salty. I usually like salty things, but it is even too much for me. The salad of mixed vegetables are prepared in advance. In short, the quality does not go along with the price. But if one only want to enjoy the view, then it is a place that can be considered.

A tourist trap through and through. :/this place is a 3.5 on Trip Advisor, but I can’t say I would agree. I think a good rule of thumb is if a place offers a set menu called«tourist menu,» you should normally walk the opposite direction. Kind of like in Spain, if a place has a picture of paella outside, you shouldn’t eat there. Service 5÷5− really nice guys that were friendly. One would actually smile at us genuinely! Food: — Pappardelle seafood– 3⁄5 served with tiny mussels, clams, and little shrimp in a tomato sauce. Shrimp were over cooked, but there was no sand in the shellfish, which is commendable. — Spaghetti carbonara– 3⁄5 while good in flavor, the sauce already did that clumpy congealed thing before it even got to the table. In all fairness, we ate dinner at 10pm. — Entrecôte(steak) in tomato sauce– 3⁄5 The meat itself is a lot of gristle and not a great cut, but the flavor is good with the sauce. — Mixed vegetables– 2⁄5 I can appreciate the good variety presented, but these were done quite poorly. Eggplant is bitter, zucchini tastes like straight oil, and I don’t even know how you can make cooked carrots taste like plastic. Bad on bad. Perhaps what bothers me the most are the dozens of little bugs crowded near the lamps in the window. Truly unappetizing. The good: service. And on a canal. #scenicviews The bad: the food. And no wifi. Womp wompppp.
