Great service, excellent wine list, and delicious food! I had the mixed fried seafood plate (the dish had a much nicer, more impressive Italian name which I can’t remember) and loved it. Although the the small fried sardines were too fishy for me — that was just my personal taste issue. My wife had the fresh grouper which she enjoyed.
I highly recommend this place. We were lucky to have a great seat by the window, probably because we made reservations. Really nice location and view of the sea.

Excellent seafood! Tried their seafood special, comes bronzino, scampi, shrimp and cuttle fish. Fresh and delicious. Owner is there all the time, maybe that is why the service and quality of food are excellent.

We traveled with 7 people and didn’t know that there were no elevators in this hotel. This made it a little tricky for some of our party. It is an older hotel — so you can hear everything that is said in the stairwell, but most nights we were down the street at the Hotel Danieli bar — so no problem. The room facing the canal was the best one and the largest. The other rooms facing the back were quiet and we could hear the bells in the morning. Continental breakfast comes with the room. Very easy to get on and off the water taxis. We hired private ones and it was worth the money. Skip the gondola rides — overrated. Get lost and have fun!

An amazing restaurant at the water front.
Service: The service was great and the server was friendly.
Food: we had sea food and it was delicious!
Price: Be willing to pay up as the restaurant is maintaining class due to water front.
Seat: Plenty of seating inside and out (heated patio in the winter)
View: is great for people watching and viewing the water.
If you are visiting the Plazza S Marco make sure to eat here.

We came here for diner, nice place over looking the water.
they start u off with some great olive oil & bread .nice & tasty. for diner we ordered a bottle of rose wine to go with our food, great wine.
we skipped the appetizers, for my main course i had the lasagna, i must say this was really good & very different than what i am used to it tasting like in the states.
my date had the fish, not crazy about it but he enjoyed it.
nice place, good service a bit more pricey than some of the other restaurants in the area.

Die Lage mit Blick auf die Lagune ist wirklich spektakulär. Allerdings muss man dafür eines der 8 Zimmer nach vorne ergattern und bereit sein, einen 5-​Sterne-​Preis für ein 3-​Sterne-​Hotel zu bezahlen. 250 bis 280 Euro und da ist noch nicht mal city tax, Safe und Wlan drin.
Das Frühstück ist schön (kontinental), die Zimmer passend (altitalienisch) und mit Klimaanlage, das Bad renovierungsbedürftig.
Die Zimmer für 200 EUR sind winzig und blicken auf den Hinterhof.

Historic boarding house overlooking Venice lagoon,“Old World” style and atmosphere to rooms and décor: don’t worry… all mod-​cons (except no elevator/​lift). Stunning views from front upper story windows, great morning atmosphere on Riva degli Schiavoni, excellent restaurant attached. Very conveniently situated for transport and tourist sights. Good value for money.
