Next we headed to Gin no Yu (silver hot water). It didn’t have showy atmosphere compared with the Kin no Yu (golden hot water). Also it was not so crowded as Kin no Yu. I love Gin no Yu better than Kin no Yu in the same way that I love Ginkakuji temple rather than Kinkakuji temple. I am attracted by quiet simplicity.
By the way admission fee is more reasonable comparing with that of Kin no Yu. It costs 550 yen for adult. Hot water is not silver in color but transparent. Commonly seen hot water. It was one floor and not so wide. A carbonated spring and radium spring. It has almost same efficiency as Kin no Yu. But here a sauna is installed. I entered the sauna room and flew much perspiration wishing for slim body. It is not adjacent to Kin no Yu. However both of them are located within walking distance, so how about taking the both of them?
Note: Closed on the first and third Tuesday and New Year’s Day.
